"El Phonecian, in the heart of Paramatta lies this Lebanese restaurant. A large restaurant space with alfresco dining as well. Great for large groups or just with friends and family. We had pickled vegetables, and dips; chilli, hummus and pita and fried pita to accompany it. All nice dips that you could mop up easily with the bread. We also had salad and some extra good falafel, followed up by chicken and vegetable skewers, served with garlic sauce. Nicely cooked and the sauce was nice and potent with the garlic flavour. Finished off with Lebanese sweets; pastries and a fruit platter. All nice food, great for sharing, being in a group we didn't have too many of the larger dishes so would be good to sample those too. Also had a Lebanese beer with salt and lemon which I thoroughly liked.<br> Service was friendly, thanks for having us! <br><br><a href="https://www.zomato.com/spoonback?u=http%3A%2F%2Faroundtheclockfoodie.com&amp;r=29026520&amp;to=33945504&amp;k=1cc2b4c33c55996c513c905d13689d99" target="_blank"><span class="left red-text">aroundtheclockfoodie.com</span><span class="grey-text left ml5" data-icon="ŧ"></span></a>"

"This used to be one of my favourite Peking restaurant but it’s changed owners and this is my first time since. We ordered our usual favourites- tea smoked duck, salted egg yolk prawns, pan fried buns . It still taste the same and quite good but didn’t feel it was as special as past dining experiences here. Maybe my expectations have changed with so many new Peking/Shanghai restaurants now opened in Sydney at a cheaper price."

"Mum and i celebrated our June birthdays with Wedgewood High Tea at Palm Court, The Langham Sydney. It was amazing. 3 Tiers of well presented high tea treats, savory, scones and then sweet, oh so sweet.1. The savory was a bit average i have to admit, chicken and leek pie was nice, and the smoked trout on toasty along with the chicken finger sandwich but will forgo the roast beef toasty and the grilled vegetable finger sandwich next to leave room for yummier stuff. 2. The scones and the jam were perfection, if just scones are available as an afternoon tea option this is what we will ask for next time, just lovely lovely scones, jam and cream. 3. The sweets tier - wow, this is where the decadence hits you. The rosewater lamington, raspberry macaron .... We got through most of it and loved it but may not have felt so well after. Our own fault of course. 4. The selection of tea was delightful and we each tried a tea we hadn't had before, me the marsala chai with almond milk. The service and the atmosphere was also perfection, when we first arrived we were seated next to a rowdy bunch of girls talking about their last 'Thyland' trip, so loud we couldn't hear our waiter explaining the high tea and tea selection. When he finished we asked if we could move, they promptly moved us near the window no fuss and amongst a quieter group of high tea-ers. The afternoon was really nice, the food beautiful, the service perfect, a must visit for high-tea connoisseurs."

"Looks good - but don't go - long waits on weekdays and menu is very limited - really nothing of substance. Worst of all though was the way I was confronted by owner - I advised the waitress that long macchiato served was not correct - what followed was 10 minutes of overheard rude commentary, another representation of a macchiato that was more milk than coffee and then direct aggression when spoken to. Unacceptable... send your staff back to barista school to learn how to make coffee before you insult your customers!"
