"Had to take car for service, so with time to spare got dropped off at Tesco early (8.15) so enjoyed a hearty breakfast of a choice of 8 items. 3 hash browns, 2 sausages, bacon, beans and fried bread: all for £4.99. Well cooked and hash browns amazingly good. This may not be a 5 star restaurant, but very good quality and price."

"Usually OK however today wasn't. Dirty tables. The bread was dry the boiled egg was soft with pieces of shell and rubbery membrane still attached. I didn't see the staff washing their hands between handling money and preparing the food. Sorry forsyths not up to your usual standard....it will be a long time before I eat their again. Nice coffee though.....apart from the wait."

"We had an absolutely fantastic weekend at the Eight Acres . We were there to celebrate a 70th birthday. The suite we got was lovely. The staff in all departments were amazing . Friendly, professional and attentive . The food in the restaurant was exquisite. They even had an ale with the same name as me .!!. Would definitely recommend. We are already planning our return."
