"We ate here several times, probably ten years ago. We stopped since it’s a bit of drive and there are closer restaurants offering dim sum. But, nostalgia descended on us and we decided to go back. It has a faintly Spadina feel sitting in a mall at Finch and Leslie with copious Chinese signs and a Sunny market. Parking was busy on a weekday lunchtime but we quickly found a parking spot close to the outside-the-mall south entrance of the restaurant. I expected it to be busier but only half the tables were occupied. The place could use a little sprucing-up. About 30 Dim sum are available from a menu containing a large number of other offerings. We ordered 3 dishes from the dim sum menu (deep fried tofu $4.25, crispy pancake w/chive $5.99, glutinous rice roll w/sugar $4.99) and a special (6 golden chive dumplings $4.99 – normally $5.99). Their arrival was nicely spaced out – not all arriving within a few minutes of each other. The tofu came first and delicious, for deep fried tofu. The glutinous rice roll arrived halfway through the tofu, warm, wrapped in plastic wrap and cut into 4 pieces. Although good, it was slightly sweet and would be better as a dessert or lead-in to a dessert. The pan-fried dumplings arrived next, small too medium sized, with a vinegar dip. Good but typical dumplings. The crispy pancake arrived last stuffed with a shredded green – probably a cabbage – and tasted healthy, i.e., it was rather bland so I asked for hot sauce. The crispiness lasts for about 5 minutes and then parts of the pancake become limp and a challenge to eat with chopsticks without the contents falling out. For the two of us the meal was filling and came to $20.22 before taxes and tip, including the twice re-filled pot of tea on the table. We'll try other restaurants for dim sum before we consider coming back."

"I’ve had sushi at many different restaurants in GTA and this location most definitely deserves praise.Ingredients are always fresh, menu options are fantastic, service is good, and you can tell there is great care and attention to detail.You know when a restaurant is good when every aspect of its operations is smooth, the staff are in good mood, and customers are happy.I can tell that the chefs puts great care into meal preparation. Even if you have similar ingredients at another restaurant, the results of preparation are not the same, and the taste of the food speaks for itself.On top of that, the price is very reasonable. I’m floored, it’s a great place to have a meal."

"This fish and chip restaurant is one of the best that I have had. I was introduced to this place about 4 yrs ago and have been going ever since we normally go with a group which sometimes becomes a bit of a wait but...we’ll wo it . There homemade meat pies are so tasty and authentic. Give this place a try you won’t be disappointed.. Get there early specially on Fridays ."
