"Great. Im picky. Ex-barrista. Ex Seattle-ite. GF except for my 1 a year choco. Croissant. Excellent combo or pastry, authentic choc. Oaxaceño calient and a cup of slow filtered cup brew. Perfectly small, unpretentious, and friendly. Good lighting for book reading (a selection to choose from in house as well. Its not trying too hard. I look specifically for these types of places to take a break from my travel hubby. Must come if you'd like to try a handful or coffe/hot chocolate places during your trip. Coffee not bitter. They have OAT milk! Salud!"

"We are written a review previously, and feel as though we must do it again... This chef is incredibly creative and uses top of the line fresh products, many of them coming from his own ranch...Chef Luis uses portobello mushrooms in such s creative way that one is left astonished...The sauces are tasty and very different from what one gets elsewhere.The final touch of a sweet chocolate drink is terrific...Very creative cuisine"

"This is a sweet little place with seating for around 20. An americano is one dollar, a to die for little pastry about 40 cents US. An iced cappuccino, just shy of $2 US even comes with an eco friendly metal straw. The friendly barista...will give you a small straw plate. Use the tongs to select your favorite from the tempting central table. And enjoy!"

"This gem of a restaurant is located in the front of Casa del Sotano hotel, and it also has access to the lovely covered seating further back in the hotel, where there is a simpler, more traditional menu. Chef Gabriel Farrant Rodriquez and Rocio Gutierrez preside over the front bistro style area, offering the chef's innovative menu along with the more traditional menu from the back of the hotel. We tried most of the chef's specials when we were there and they were all excellent, including fish, meat and pasta dishes. The dishes often employed uniquely Mexican herbs and spices, reflecting Chef Gabriel's extensive professional experience. Rocio and Gabriel offer home infused mescals, along with select artisanal mescals. Rocio is also a chocolatier. They are warm and friendly hosts and happy to help you select food or mescal, all at very reasonable prices."

"We enjoyed a breezy warm evening on the rooftop though the system had shown no availability for the rooftop when making reservation--lovely atmosphere! The food and drinks were beautiful and delicious, would definitely recommend and return. Gracias."
