"I was staying at the Macquarie Waters Apartment Hotel and The Corner is attached to the lobby. They open early 7-12; then for dinner 6-8. The coffee is great (Campos) and the early opening time is super convenient."

"Have been to the cafe a few times and have never been disappointed. I thought I’d make the most of the beautiful weather and take my partner out for a nice lunch. I got the salmon fillet with the teriyaki sauce. Yum! It was cooked to perfection and the sauce was beautiful. I was unsure about the seaweed salad that was on top but I tried and loved it! 10/10 would order again. My partner got the squid and loved it. The squid had a nice crumb, the salad was fresh, the chips were hot and the aioli was delish. We both ordered ice lattes for our drinks which conveniently came out just before our meals and tasted great. Overall this place is great and the staff are super friendly. Definitely will be back!"

"Great food, great setting. Very relaxing vibe here. Could of whiled away several hours on the picturesque deck and surrounds. Prawn and Crab ravioli was a smash hit. Pork belly was tasty and well plated. A genuine attempt at at providing a French food adventure in Port Maquarie. Escargot was an interesting experience. These earthy little garlic bombs were not my cup of tea but hats to chef for providing this food oppurtunity. There is also a nice selection of wines and beveridges. Service was thorough. So all good at the Little Fish Cafe."

"Had lunch here with a friend...absolutely delicious! We both had the avocado and apple on sour dough which was scrumptious. The coffee was excellent and although we didn't have any, the cakes also looked inviting. Excellent service with all staff being friendly and attentive. Loved the chalkboards and books to entertain children as well as the availability of books to borrow. Great atmosphere. Certainly well worth a visit."

"I have visited this small bar a couple of times with friends but doubt I'll be back again. They still can't provide a wine list to choose from and instead make you tell them what wine you want and then go and get it from out the back, pour it and only show you the label when you ask them. It was cheap and horrible and certainly wasn't worth any more than the $7 it cost. They apologised that they didn't have a wine list available but they were just changing all their wines. However, I heard this excuse weeks ago when I was there with friends. In this day and age of laptop computing and wireless printing they could type up a wine list in 30 minutes, so it's obvious they are trying to hide the fact they sell terrible wine and can't be bothered to stock something nice. The timber floor upstairs was sticky from too many spilt beers and the cover on the lounge was rippled. I know some people think cheap furniture from Vinnies adds to the atmosphere of the bar, but it does not, it just look tacky. The staff were polite but not helpful. We only stopped by for a drink before dinner at a nearby restaurant, but will try somewhere else next time."

"Being located alongside Spotlight might indicate it has ready-made customers, though there were few in evidence when we visited. It serves the takeaway needs of nearby businesses. The coffee was uninspiring, and I wouldn't readily go there for another cup. There are numerous other coffee places in and around Lake Road."
