"Stopped at the starbucks in the station on my way home, using my nhs discount as I often do, when I got home I noticed a note in the cupboard thanking my for my work and I have never felt kindness from strangers quite like that before, such a simple gesture after a really tough shift Will and Italia should be very proud of the joy they have given me."

"Surprised at how good the Covid response was in this fish and chip shop, nearly all customers observing the regulations, makes the experience so much less stressful. Fish and chips and meat pudding nice. Would have been 5 stars except the wait at tea time is very long indeed. They seem to be permanently waiting for each fish to be cooked to order instead of having a bunch ready and the portions are surprisingly small ."

"Shocking service waited 1 and a half hour live 5 mins away ordered a medium pizza and 2 piece chicken and chips everything was cold it here weren’t no chips and it was 18 pound rang them they said what do you want us to do we didn’t send cold food it was late kids were starving food literally did not get eaten so had to go kfc as they did not want to do nothing about it never would I say this I’m it I strongly advise everyone to go to pizza paradise in Mansfield road rather then this disgrace never again sorry for the language but I am appalled"

"Randomly found this place whilst wandering around the town. Ordered a cup of Thai milk tea. Very authentic flavour Love it. It’s in a huge cup as well!"

"Average food and an average experience. Some items such as the curry and gammon are decent enough but others such as the steak and ale pie really aren't with very little steak and what is inside is tough, fatty and chewy. The cauliflower bites were like baby food inside with mushy cauliflower and the batter' was like rubber rather than being crisp. Also, a starter we ordered to come with our main courses was missed off and we had to go to the bar to ask for it. After our main courses we ordered some dessert for our kids, initially we tried ordering the apple crumble but that wasn't available, so we had the brownie, then the lemon sorbet but that wasn't available so this ended up as chocolate icecream, then the strawberry and clotted cream icecream but this also wasn't available so we had to settle for raspberry ripple. All this out of stock on a Friday lunchtime, so I can imagine there will be a lot of disappointment over the weekend. Added to which we had a 30 minute wait for the desserts to arrive bearing in mind we had ordered 2 icecreams and 2 pre made brownies and then they only arrived after we went to the bar and asked after another table who ordered theirs 10 minutes after ours received them 5 minutes before us. It was not overly busy during our visit and judging by the size of the Phantom Winger I would estimate it was barely a third full."
