"We called in there last night after coming back from a trip and just wanted a quick bite to eat. The set menu was priced at 20 soles for a 3 course meal. They even gave us a small glass of Pisco sour. The food was first class as was the service. If we came back to Puno would definitely revisit. The photos are for the starter to busy eating to take photos of the main and desserts but go for the crepes or chocolate cake both were fantastic"

"At the end of the day at the Royal Inn Hotel and decided to eat at the hotel as it did not feel like an exploration due to the impact of the altitude in Puno. The prices were quite reasonable. I had the 3 course fixed menu for 30 soles (only under $10). The menu changes daily and there are 3 options for appetizer, main course and dessert. I had the pumpkin soup, Andean trout and banana crepe. Herbal tea was also included. The portions were large and everything was delicious. My friend ordered the Alpaca-Steak with mushroom sauce from the menu, which was delivered at about 35 soles. Our two ducks came with potatoes and vegetables. My friend said it was the best meal he had in his 8 days in Peru. I usually try to stay away from hotel restaurants because they are usually overpriced and don't have many food options, but I'm very grateful."

"We were there for the dinner and were overwhelmed with the reception of the staff members. Sadly it didn't go well with the food, we ordered for a vegetarian pizza and one with ham. Surprisingly, they had ham on both pizzas. I brought this to...the notice of the waitress who was quite surprised and she escalated this to the chef. Sadly, not a single staff member walked into the table to offer an apology or an alternative option, we had to toss the ham away from the pizza and eat it."
