"If you Like a great Burger, the good old fashion way, like i do..then look no further. It's a big call, but i have lived in Cairns for 20 years, the The Pepper Box Cafe at Stratford does the best. It's a small cafe, but it's Big on Value and Flavour. They are a genuine Cafe, with Coffee, Chai, Burgers, Wraps, Salads, Full Meals and friendly service. Produce is fresh not "tired", and just quietly, i don't like sausage rolls, but again...try and go past one at this Cafe. They are how a Sausage Roll should taste. Do yourself a favour and check it out."

"Stopped in on the way from town and found it very untidy and dirty. Went to toilet and it looked like it hadn't been cleaned for awhile. Don't think I would go there again"

"We were just there for breakfast, eating seemed not to take very long at all and there was certainly enough on the teller. I noticed that they could have a continental breakfast, there was juice, musli, toast and tea/coffee."

"We were a little daunted by the pricing - but, hey it's Cairns right? It is to be expected. But wow the portion sizes matched the pricing. Really good sizes - 1 main + rice will feed a couple nicely. Really tasty and some of the best Chinese food we have had in ages.Also, we ordered the Steamed Pork Buns for an entree. The waiter came back out from the kitchen and apologised that they had just sold out. Shows that they are not frozen, but made fresh and and only have a certain number of portions. Really good to see. Service was a little slow - but it shows how popular the place is and that food is not "zapped" to get it out faster, but made to order. When we received our order, the wait was forgotten with the first bite of the quality and taste.We will return when we are in the area again."

"Stopped for a quick brekky as our accom was just down the road. Good coffee. Great egg and bacon roll I think it had a flasher moniker though). Nice decor and good service"

"Probably one of the more expensive cafes on Anderson St. But great coffee and awesome food. Bliss balls are awesome. I have never had a bad experience here. Highly recommend the peanut butter smoothie"
