"Really disappointed! My son has a dairy allergy, I asked what items would be safe for him to eat to be told they didn’t know. I asked to see the allergy book and was told it was confidential so I couldn’t take it to my table. For something as serious as allergies I was really disappointed, the components of each meal were listed however not the ingredients of each item. The website states to inform a member of staff about allergies so they can be catered for this couldn’t be further from our experience."

"I had a lovely coffee at Jimmy’s this morning. Coffee was delicious but also the owners are so friendly and it’s a very friendly and welcoming cafe. Will be back next time for some food."

"Had the summer salad and lamb and both were really good. The sticky toffee pudding is to die for. Husband had oysters and sea bass and also cleaned his plate. Music when we first arrived was great but connection spotty so went silent shortly after we arrived. Music made for a nicer atmosphere. All in all excellent!"

"Four kids and one hombre had a glorious breakfast here on the bank holiday Sunday. Nice outdoor seating with food served to the table and tables inside if the weather is against you. The full breakfast is all an adult should eat in the morning, and the smaller breakfast suited 11 year olds well. Jacket potato for a gluten intolerant and all served by quickly and hot. The view from here is something special and kids just play endlessly in front of you on the beach. Get down on it"

"The guys helped with an amazing surprise party for my wife. The manager went above and beyond to get every detail spot on for the surprise to work where we sit down for a pretend romantic meal for two but once we sat down she...signalled for the band to start playing in the function room for us to go and have a “quick listen” The new refurb now makes it flow much nicer for functions with easy access to the bar and big enough space for lots or people. The Buffet that was provided for vegan and non vegan was amazing and even though lots was provided it went very quickly. We stayed the night as well and the rooms were so lovely and spacious and breakfast was very nice. The staff where all friendly and very helpful. Highly recommend these guys for functions"

"I come here every week with my friends, we love the coffee here, it is the best coffee in Battle. I am vegan and there are lots of different alternative milks, which are hard to find elsewhere. I’m so glad this has opened, I never expected to have such a quality coffee house in such a rural area. Thank you Tres! Also, it feels a very clean and safe place to go into and be served in, with all the safety measures against covid in place."
