"Les Arielles is a beautiful hotel on the Jardin Alpin slope. Super luxe the spa is Creme de la Mer so you get the idea. We stopped for a tea/coffee break. Nice enough service but apart from one other couple we were the only ones there. 14 euros for a cup of tea made this a very expensive stop even by Courchevel standards."

"We stopped here twice, first on their balcony in the sun for our morning break which was so pleasant we returned for lunch. On our lunch stop it was colder and cloudy so we went inside. They were busy and we hadn’t made a reservation...but they found us a table and couldn’t have been friendlier. The food was lovely and came out as soon as we had ordered, there was no rush to take our order though and it was a very relaxed lunch. The restaurant is quite expensive with a small menu of meats, pastas, tartiflette etc, I had a mixed salad. There is also a snack bar underneath which was busy with cheaper prices, burgers and chips etc but you have to sit outside (not on the balcony, although there were deckchairs in the sun)."

"Great, relaxing set up in the sun. Outdoor couches, seats covered with fur, nice ambiance and music. If you want a cheaper fare, try the hot dig kiosk next door where there are also seats in the sun."
