"Situated on a lonely stretch on the picturesque one-lane Siolim-Chapora road, this is the board that greets you when you enter "God's Place", at first sight a rather scruffy joint for backpackers and latter days hippies. But don't let that fool you: this place is "bobo", 'bourgeois bohème', as the French put it. It is serene, with a magnificent view on the Chapora estuary and the Morjim sand breakers. Should be an ideal view for sunsets.It was our last morning in Goa and stopped here only for drinks. The masala chai was excellent: full milk and masala just to taste. The lemon grass was freshly cut from the garden and the juice was perfect, with just enough lemon juice and pomegranate seeds added.Tables were decked with fresh flowers, crockery from Auroville and clean cutlery. We did not stay for lunch but the menu has a distinct 'slow food' influence, with lots of organic ingredients.Make this a must-visit place on your next Goa visit that makes you dream just by looking outside... and,yes, they accept bitcoins payment."
