"One of the only chippies open in February in Skeggy, this place was almost empty when we parked our cold bums at a formica table in the corner. There's no real waitress service you have to go and order at the counter, but the staff are friendly and cheerful. Two haddock and chips with steaming mugs of builders tea came to just shy of £15, which is a bit on the steep side, but I think it would've been cheaper if we'd had takeout and braved the cold winter weather, which to be honest wasn't much of a choice. The batter was light, the chips were chunky (none of these pointy, stab your gums end bits, thank you very much), and the gravy was thick and tasty. Delicious."

"Booked 4 nights away on a grass touring pitch for my family over the Easter break the pitch was water logged and soon as I drove on the grass our car and caravan started to sink whilst putting the awning up the Owner came over in a very irate manner telling us our car had to be put outside the gate was told they had 24hr security there wasnt any the owner told us they had had 40 days of rain that why we couldt park next to our caravan we was told if we got set there was a £100 charge to be pulled off (inside the gate there was a sign saying £50 tow off fee) when we was leaving I had to ask for my deposit back for the gate key we wasn't the only customers to be treated in this way I wouldn't recommend this site"

"Beautiful clean restaurant a lot of seating area round, was not busy so the social removal was no problem. I and my partner ordered that the fish and chips do not wait long. the eating was nice but expected better the fish was perfect, but the chips were not so great that they were thick cut chips, like what they got from the super market freezer, but was okay and the mushy brooms were good, but not very hot. also came on a blue and white paper that did not last long before it became soggy and began to tear, while fish ek. the meals of the children were estimated with a decent part appropriately. would not recommend for sea fish and chips."

"We make a bee line for this place, as we know that the dog can in, he is a good tip and just lays calm, her coffee is so beautiful, always hot, we have in the usually only coffee and cake, but yesterday we had a panini as well, so good for money, so much cheese and the cherry spoon was huge! there was a big party with the afternoon, but that didn't mean we were not visited. well done, they'll see each other."
