"I've eaten here for at least 25 years. Not once has my order been wrong. It's always (yes, always) been hot. I add baby corn to everything and it has never been a problem. You can't beat the price especially when you consider the amount of decent, quality food you get. Their sweet tea is actually pretty good. The restaurant itself is pretty clean tho I've never been in the restrooms. I don't have anything against their restrooms, I have something against all public restrooms. The next (and last) thing I'm about to say may offend a few and while I'm sure to lose much sleep over that, it's not my intent. With that said: I absolutely love and commend them on the fact that while English is their 2nd language, I can most always understand everything they say. Over the years, I've missed a word here and there but it has never been a problem. There are other places that have decent food that I don't go to because I feel uncomfortable due to not being able to understand what they say. I truly appreciate the effort they've put into learning the language the majority of the people here use."

"We got our food on Thursday at 11:30, and it was a great experience. No line, and everyone was so nice! We bought for several people, which meant that we almost tried everything... It was YUM YUM YUM YUM! Salisbury Steak, fish, roasted chicken, sweet potato casserole, CHEESE GRIT BACON TURNIP GREENS, black eye beans, Lima beans, carrot ray salad, Macn cheese and some other things I forgot. For dessert, lemon cake and banana pudding. Good luck! The only thing that wasn't my Fave was the pear salad two cans of pear halves with grated cheddar and a bunch of straight Mayo, but to each of his own, right? Five stars!"

"Came in to spend some time with family, after their kids wedding the night before. What a great choice! We came in, were welcomed enthusiastically, and seated promptly! Our server, who looked a lot younger than we 're sure she was, did an amazing job of helping us with the menu, staying on top of things, and near the end of the evening, cleaning up! She never stopped moving, and was amazingly friendly. Great service! The food was excellent. The six of us tried a wide variety of items, from BBQ salad, to pulled pork, to brisket, to ribs. The biscuits, by the way, are a great reason to come amazing and very 'unhealthy '. ; Everything was amazing, flavorful, and fresh. Combined with our server, who made sure we had what we needed, it was a spot on experience! When in the area, stop in from some good BBQ with fun staff, and flavorful food."
