"It was the second time to visit this city, Tulln by bike. Last time in summer I saw many people enjoy their meals in the outdoor sitting area, but no time to stop. This time I was desperately looking for somewhere to come by and drink some warm on a cold Sunday in autumn. This place was the only place I knew, and I was hoping it was open. When I arrived in front of the restaurant, I saw the lights inside, but the outside seat was empty and did not expect so many people in the restaurant. When I came to the restaurant, I was unexpectedly greeted by a wealth of local guests eating geese (it is an Austrian tradition of eating geese at the beginning of November) and servers running around to serve them. When I drove a bike for a long distance, I had to sit down and have something warm. So I found a place in a bar area and waited. First I spoke in English, but totally ignored and so I gave up eating something, I just ordered a cup of tea in my poor German. A cup of tea comes with a small cookie, and they were exactly what I needed to drive to Vienna by bicycle. When I went, I tried to say This is a great help for me to reach Vienna in German, and they smiled at me, and so I hope it made some sense. Anyway, I'll come back by the next time I drive a bike tour along the Danube."

"We didn't want to go to the city in the evening, and we were looking for something adequate in the environment. unfortunately it was already too cold and too dark, as the gastgarten had closed. this is really very nice and beautiful.We then took a place inside and studied the menu. this consists of a kindergarten kitchen to moderate trips. the atmosphere in this local is very characterized by hard-naturity and tristesse, unfortunately, because you could make much more of these old walls.The eating itself was very fat and little refreshingly dressed. the cherry potatoes were noticeably a bit old and didn't taste good.We actually wanted a dessert after that, but since the service hasn't come for a long time (in the meantime the house dog has passed and has snorted the remaining pieces of meat with a suffering look;-)), we paid after 3 times the motivation."
