"I came here just about 8 minutes before they closed and I was still able to order sushi and a salad to go. Service was fast and friendly, and I was impressed by the interior. Felt cosmopolitan, urban. Fast forward to bringing the food home, and if take out could be sexy, then they accomplished it. Fresh salad and sushi, beautiful containers and every need met. Looks like they have their own delivery car too. Will go in person, well in advance of closing for my next visit to soak up the atmosphere."

"I was greeted in the most welcoming way, and I got to take my time to figure out my to go order, and then had a nice chat with the chef before ordering. I am thankful I asked about the sides, because there were a LOT more sides than what is on the menu. For example, I ordered the okra as a side, and there were a few more that made my mouth water. Super clean place, nice bathroom, HUGE dining area. Cool vibe, nice music playing and good smells coming from the kitchen. They even serve breakfast! Yummy! Real soul food! My okra was the best okra I have ever had, I didn’t even know it was possible to cook okra like that. The ribs were delicious and so was my Mac and cheese. Freshly made sweet tea, and I resisted this amazing red velvet cake that was available. It looked so good. The real star here is the owner. You can’t have real soul food without a real soul and spirit filled chef, and this chef truly is blessed."
