"We ordered a 16 Large Sicilian Pizza, Calamari Fritti, and a Child's Spaghetti through Postmates for lunch and were pleasantly surprised by the size of the child's spaghetti. I mean, look how much came with this thing! Unfortunately, that was the only exceptional part of our order. For 3 items and a $50+ tab later, we were unimpressed with the calamari which was more or less what you'd expect at any pizza spot and we really wanted to love the pizza which looked saucy and cheesy at first glance, but after biting into it, tasted like a mouthful of bread with a thin skimming of sauce and cheese on top. I wish that saucy and cheesy layer ran deeper into the dough so that it tasted more like a balanced pizza. I'd try again if this changed, otherwise, there are many other places I'd choose to enjoy pizza."

"Ordered the brisket sandwich with honey-chipotle and regular sauce as the nice lady at the register told me I'd be able to split sauce options. For sides, I picked the mac and cheese. I glanced around the restaurant while I waited and as soon as I put the order in, it was ready to take home! The fat on the brisket tasted tummy, but overall the meat was a little drier than I liked. The sauces helped with the flavor but didn't stand out to me as exceptional. The mac and cheese side was kind of small and was alright as well. I added the hot sauce I had at home to it for extra flavor. Overall, I think there's still a lot of stiff competition for BBQ in the triad, but this would be a great and affordable lunch/dinner option to pick up for something quick to satisfy a meaty craving."

"Food was good, out to the table really fast. Service wasn't great. Once the food hit the table we didn't see our waiter again until our plates had been sitting empty for a good 5 minutes. Nevermind trying to get a drink refill or some steak sauce, he was gone. I think their staff is spread thinner than the handful of tables that they are seating. Maybe we'll just do takeout next time."

"I travel a lot for work and I have passed by this place dozens of times and decided to stop in for lunch today. Super glad I did! I had the grilled chicken sandwich on a brioche bun. Great food with an awesome location in downtown Winston Salem. The food is very reasonably priced. Met the owner John. Great guy! highly recommend Murphy’s lunch."

"We had a reservation, so we sat right away. The hostess was that the guests wait at least 15 minutes to take place. But there were plenty of open tables that would have accommodated anyone waiting. Server was not incompetent did not know which wines were available for purchase, brought the wrong wine, even after he had told us what was available, the review was in the end wrong. Eating was AWFUL! We both got fried shrimps; they were fried so hard that they were hard to chew. I also got the parmesan boiled chicken; it was like rubber under the soggy crust. This restaurant is located in the mall, and I felt most uncomfortable with the sketchy, dug like buyers we saw walking through the window. We will return NIE to this restaurant!!!"
