"Absolutely beautiful relaxing caffe. that serves fresh food every day. whether it is skorone, cupcakes or delicious homemade recipe cakes that they are delicious. vegetarians are more than welcome as they will provide them with ease. they, if they have children and want a little play space to keep them entertained; do not hesitate to bring them here, the children will entertain with the playroom and the personal are amazing to watch / get them! I have to say this is the best caffe in berkshire. they made my son a 13th birthday cake that served 30 hungry guys/girl and it went with ease, but above all it looked amazing! emmas kitchen really takes care of their local area as well as the sale of fresh productions, cultivated or locally produced. very recommended for a nice morning breakfast, brunch or snacks."

"We arrived at around 1pm to have a bite to eat and let the children have a play in the soft play area. We queued for around 10 minutes only to be told that food would take over 45 minutes as they needed to “catch up”. I wouldn’t have minded too much other than the fact there were only around 40 people in the restaurant/cafe area, some of which had clearly been there some time. When we then proceeded to order we were informed that 5 of the 8 options were unavailable, leaving ham, egg and chips, cod or chicken in bacon, so we ordered the chicken. Not surprisingly this took an hour and when it arrived was the poorest excuse of a meal I’ve seen since school some 30 years ago. Normally you’d expect a nice chicken breast wrapped in bacon. What we received was a very small piece of chicken with a large bone meaning the amount of chicken would have been equal to less than one would find in a sandwich from a supermarket! Served with a small portion of vegetables and all for £10. To say we were less than impressed would be an understatement."

"All I have to say is wowsa!! I came here with friends for afternoon tea (which has to be pre booked). It cost per head and the food was sublime, we got sandwiches (and lots of them), scones, cream jam, petit fours. There...was so much food we couldnt eat it so Michelle the owner boxed them up for us so we could take them home. I'll definately be going again"

"Attended a christening party in the marquee. Well laid out lovely ambience Plenty of tables chairs outside. Lovely garden and fields in the back. Pig roasted fresh and side salads. Roasted meat was tasty but not too impressed with the salads, ie Potatoe salad swimming in Mayonnaise. Otherwise a great venue."

"Set in Tesco supermarket the area is small and not really separate from the shop could do with some privacy/ plants to separate it. Always busy but managed to get a seat, bonus when I visited a tea was a £1 selection of cakes and sandwiches are ok. Good thing is parking is free and handy."

"This place was converted from a Wyevale and still needs work. It looks shabby and there is a distinct absence of staff to help with queries in the garden centre. We had a light lunch which was very nice but I was appalled by the fact that 50% of the tables had not been cleared. During the half hour we were there I did not see anyone clearing tables. In fact the woman who brought our food deliberately walked past the many full and dirty tables. Anyone with any gumption would have taken at least some dirty plates with them back to the kitchen. Management need to urgently get a grip or people will stop coming here."

"We attended a family function , here today 25 march 2022, Dan Georgie were really brilliant , from the start , as a large family and friends of around 50 people appreciated all the effort today. The spread was really great , and by the end there wasn’t much left , all enjoyed the wide array of sandwiches cakes and the bar , can’t find any fault with the service with anything , again much appreciated for all the effort today would definitely recommend a visit ."
