"This is a cool restaurant with a good vibe. I would imagine that it would get super busy on a game night or concert night so I would recommend a reservation for those nights. We came on Wednesday night and we were seated right away. My husband was pleasantly surprised by the amount of beer on the menu, there is tons! We did the platter for two with the salad and yam fries. This is a good way to get an idea of the different choices on the menu and see what you like or don’t like. I am never a fan of pulled pork, but I was pleasantly surprised by how good their pulled pork is. It’s not too saucy and the taste is not too bold. It’s just right! The brisket was my favourite and I really enjoyed it. Neither of us enjoyed the sausage or the ribs. The sausage was too spicy for me and the ribs had a strange flavour and way too much sauce on them. The only recommendation I would make is there needs to be some indication or information when someone says they are not good with spicy stuff. There were a few things that were quite spicy, and for a person who struggles with spice, it can ultimately wreck my meal. It didn’t in this case, but there were a few things I wouldn’t have tried if I had known more information on it. When we go back again, I will definitely get the brisket meal. My husband said he would get the pulled pork meal. Another review commented on this being pricey for two people. I would disagree with that considering the amount of food that we got I think the fact that I am a wine drinker and do not enjoy beer made the bill more expensive because wine is typically much more expensive by the glass, we did not feel that the prices were unreasonable. The platter for two was $65 and there was more than enough food. The service was really good, they were very attentive and helpful. It looks like it would be a fun place on a Saturday night."
