"The wine flies are a number of 3 different glasses with different tastes. For someone who likes the sweet taste, I would recommend the German white wine, very nice! But every glass has a little wine inside, so the whole flying set is similar to a complete glass of wine. The cheese board contains a crispy cheese with mango Chinese sausage, very tasty, and 2 types of salads (3-5 slides for each), 2 pieces pickles, few slides of ham and it costs $36. If you come on Monday, $20 Mussels all you can. The waitress was friendly, bar has classic ambience. Jazz music is played only on Sunday, Tuesday and Wednesday by a single guitarist, not a band. The bar is quite small, there is no room for a band to play a great jazz."

"Lovely warm wood decor. Terribly uncomfortable corner seating. Round table pushed both of us into angular hard surfaces. Service was friendly and very fast. Asked if pepper was available and the micro amount that was ground (with a quick flourish) over the food platters ended up mostly on the table. Note to self: Bring your own pepper grinder next time. We ordered mussels and frites (with leek and mushroom sauce) as main dish and breaded calamari as appetizer, both to share. Neither serving was what would be considered generous. Calamari was crispy and nicely-seasoned. The mussels had average-sized shells with the tiniest amount of meat inside..and I'm from the Bay of Fundy area so maybe I'm spoiled by tablespoon-size mussel meat inside the shell. These mussels were in the teaspoon-size. Sauce was meh. Frites were meh. Not bad but certainly not great. Would I return? Not if I was the person picking up the bill."
