"This is the second time I have been to Plates, and I have not been disappointed. My husband and I celebrated our wedding anniversary, and were greeted courteously by the hostess, who had our table ready, and by the wait staff, who did a good job. The manager checked with us more than once to make sure everything was satisfactory, which it was. I particularly love the atmosphere at Plates, its amazing decor, and beautiful setting. Plates is both classy and casual at the same time-very Austin! Our food was incredible,(perfectly prepared steak and seasoned veggies) the coffee superb, the dessert-a chef prepared creamy coconut pastry cake with meringue icing- delectable. The manager even helped me put in an order for desserts for an event I am hosting soon, so that was an extra perk. We may have to spend every anniversary there! Thank you, Plates, for your attention to detail and insuring our special occasion was just that-super special!"
