"I always make it a point to visit this place when I am in San Diego. The staff is really friendly and the food is amazing. There is plenty of parking out front and in the back. My son always gets the orange chicken bowl and subs in noodles instead of the rice. My daughter and I get the sushi rolls. The Pine Valley roll and Rainbow roll are my two favorites. "Blue Ribbon was fantastic! Inside a hotel lobby which wasn’t clear to me…fun adventure to find! The inside is very nice with a lot of seating, including small enclosed rooms, open tables and my favorites, the sushi bar way in the back. This place is FAST! And GOOD! I found the fish to be fresh and plentiful. Otoro and Uni were my favs, but the 7 color roll won my vote for best variety! Definitely gets my Go There vote! #gotheretastethat #blueribbonsushi #sushi"

"Food was pretty good, I was happy with my order. Service was terrible. We went for Mother's Day and the restaurant was full. Maybe they just aren't used to it being that busy. But that should tell you everything right off the bat. We had our very small table full of appetizer plates, when our food came we asked them to remove the plates for us and they never did. We had to ask for water twice. Just for water! Our food took a long time, although they did have a large group of about 15 in the back and again, the restaurant was full. Ambiance also left much to be desired. We asked to sit at the bar but that was not an option. So it was either sit on the hot Inclosed patio or inside where we sat in a corner staring at the bathroom doors. Will most definitely not be returning."
