Enter Mexico... <br/ <br/ Having visited their Takapuna store many times there is a comfort in knowing what you are about to order and eat.<br/ <br/ We are welcomed into the restaurant and seated by our friendly waitress. We place our order didn’t really need to look at the menu) afternoon snack of Mexico Fried Chicken, one of their speciality’s. Food arrives shortly there after and it’s exactly what the doctor ordered. Great as always!!!<br/ <br/ If you haven’t eaten here before there are plenty of other goodies to try on the menu: worth a mention is their soft shell tacos, they always go down a treat!<br/ <br/ Food: 75%<br/ Ambience: 78%<br/ Service: 80%<br/ Coffee: N/A"

"Thoroughly enjoyed our early dinner, reservation made for 5:30 PM. Service led the evening with every staff being attentive, informative, and friendly; this included the Chef! Our first dining experience in New Zealand, the waiter encouraged questions, which worked out as we were curious of New Zealand authentic foods and wine. Speaking of wine, I was unfamiliar with some of the white wine NZ wineries, a quick solution presented by our waiter, a tasting!! Fabulous. As for the star of the evening, the Wagyu Scotch fillet was perfectly seared and just the right size as we did not want to overeat. The gnocchi dish was insanely delicious, a smart combination of zucchini, snap peas and other accoutrements. The actual gnocchi were clouds with a light crispy outside omgoodness, a must try if you are gnocchi obsessed like me no dessert as we had other itinerary to get too. Of note, there were no screens on the open windows with some flies buzzing at our inside table next to the chef’s area, no one seemed to be concerned, though it was off putting to us Vegetarian options: Restaurant offers delicious vegetarian options Parking: Sundays and holidays free street parking Kid-friendliness: Restaurant accepts well behaved children"

"My husband took me out for dinner to make my day, as I was 9 months pregnant, was craving something yummy!<br/ <br/ We chose this place and it made our evening! We ordered Tom Yum Soup with Prawns, Duck Thai Curry with Pineapple and Red Thai Curry with Chicken.<br/ My husband also ordered some shot of wine.<br/ <br/ The food was delicious, the ambiance was perfect and on top of all that the service provided by Nina was amazing. We had great time discussing the menu with her. She was very helpful.<br/ <br/ We have been here before but this time was even better. This made our evening better than we thought.<br/ <br/ Thanks Nina!"

"I have enjoyed the choices and the variety of food in the spatial areas. this is a Korean application to Japanese classmates. from onigiri to rollushi to deep fried sushi. the aromen were great. from the tempura, which was light and crispy, to the tofu sticks filled with taste. even the rice dessert snacks were a joy"

"Happy friendly staff, very welcoming. Great food and excellent location to where we were staying. We really enjoyed our time here. We were actually looking for Tanuki's Cave but stumbled next door, into Kura and were not disappointed. Sadly, a little early in the day for us to have some sake, (we had a long day planned) but was sorely tempted. Next time though! I will be back if I am ever in the area again."
