"My family and I came here a few weeks back, and all I can say is wow, what a fantastic experience. It was a Saturday night and fairly busy, but since we made reservations, we did not need to wait at all. Our server was extremely friendly and attentive, the atmosphere and ambiance was fantastic, and last but not least, the food was delicious! The Calamari Fritti was hands down the best calamari my wife and I have ever eaten; the lemon caper sauce with the tender filets was perfect! I can't believe I have lived in Bakersfield my whole life and have never eaten here, I will most definitely be coming back soon! I would wholeheartedly and unequivocally recommend!"

"It's mediocre food. It is basically a bar with overpriced mediocre food. Sushi is missing something. No taste. The chicken tasted like it was directly from the freezer without spices. The baked shells were amazing, but $10 for 3. Overall, it is only a place to socialize. If you want the Teppen experience, you need to call in time. The waiter was 10/10, he was very attentive and well maintained. Unlike this very lack of pleasure for the price."

"Good service! Fast and friendly service! We enjoyed our entire meal! Presentation was very nice of rolls! We spent $69 for Tempura udon, 3 sushi rolls an appetizer, and sodas! We will go back again! Friendly sushi chefs are such a nice bonus!"

"A hidden little gem. The food is fresh and authentic. It's a small fun spot with plenty of seating. Super casual. Cool spot to get lunch. There was no wait when we came in during lunch time and they take telephone orders for curb side pickup!"

"Just had dinner here with my family and the items we ordered was very good and tasty. Customer service was amazing, the food had tons of flavor and to top it off I ordered a Thai Tea midway through my dinner and it gave an overall balance of flavors. Hands down to our waiter who is truly kind every time we come here. Definitely coming here again. 1. Chicken Pad Thai 2. Fried Egg Roll 3. Fried Tofu 4. Papaya Salad (recommend medium) However, I didn't get a picture of tonight's dinner but I have a few from past visits."
