"Blech! We discovered this place inside a ghost kitchen inside Umami Burger, on Beverly Drive. It's truly disgusting. What was I thinking? Why order sushi in a joint that also serves hamburgers, Louisiana fried chicken, and cake? If you want good sushi, Sushi Kiyono half a block south is tasty and just a few dollars more. We ate on the patio, so the food was fresh and given a fighting chance. But blech! The spicy tuna on crispy rice was greasy and gross. And this is the signature item! The various sushi items were nasty and sludgy, and the ginger was almost frozen. I can't believe Katsuya is connected to this operation. The only thing good about this place is the cute logo. P.S. My son reminded me I once ordered it takeout, and we all felt sick. So, shame on me."
