"I can't have enough about dockside rave, they are the way to the destination for the best fish, fries, burgers and donuts! they must have been using a great appetit or plan to really experience several visits and appreciate the versatility or menu. "Worth the drive from the Comox Valley. I've been twice in the last 2 weeks and I have been happy both times. Food is fresh and perfectly prepared. Beautiful pottery dishes, friendly service, and finally a good drink list. They even have piccolos of sparkling wine! Prices are great too. And...they use real shiso leaves. Even the tempura, you get a crispy shiso leaf. Mind blown."

"Received very poor service at this place. Never did have our table cleaned and did not receive utensils (the kind family beside us, at least, noticed and shared chopsticks from their table). Ordered a drink that never arrived. It was affordable sushi, but not nearly good enough to make up for the slow and borderline rude service from the 2 servers. It was NOT busy. Rice was cold and chewy (maybe it sat in the kitchen awhile...?) Will not return."

"My family and I were craving sushi. We stumbled upon this place. The service was amazing and everything came out so quickly. I was astonished. My bf and I ordered the furusato special which is 3 rolls, sashimi, gyoza and fried oysters. It's $60 value for two people, which in my opinion is a fantastic deal. I'll be back when I'm craving somemore sushi"
