"My husband and myself went for lunch and we were greeted warmly by Sheena. We chose several dishes from the sharers/starters menu. We had salt and pepper fries, tempura prawns, garlic mushrooms and spicy chicken wings. Izaak cooked everything to perfection and we will definitely return. If you want a warm welcome and good food, then try the Sawles Arms"

"Have just had the lamb roast dinner and can honestly say it was one of the nicest roast's I've ever had! Beautifully cooked food to perfection, even the mint sauce and horseradish were made fresh. "You need to book in advance to get a table. Unfortunately, we were not able to book in advance. However, we were accommodated by their staff, and they asked us if it was okay that the table didn’t have a sea view. We immediately said no problem, since we went there for the food. We were very pleased since me and my friends are really hungry We ordered their scallops, crispy sesame chicken, chowder, King prawn and catch of the day. They were all exquisite!! we were happy with the chowder! I was just surprised with the serving of the scallops but overall, it was tasty! The staff were excellent, the location wise- accessible, the food was delicious, serving time was alright"

"As you can see if you trawl through my previous reviews of this chippy we've had highs and lows over the years but this time was definitely a high. I really don't know whether the ownership has changed since I was last here but we decided to have a fish and chip lunch. The fish was lovely, moist and flakey in a really light, nearly tempura batter which wasn't at all greasy. Likewise the chips were well cooked, again not greasy but really hot. We ordered Haddock which was cooked freshly for us and the chips likewise. Was well worth the few minutes wait and even after driving home the whole meal was still very hot. Possibly the best fish and chips we've had in a long time............."

"Amazingly authentic Asian food! The pad see ew, and spring rolls (which I didn't photograph sadly) were amazing, the service was great and staff were lovely so we went back for sushi, the sushi was so so beautiful so nice and fresh, the chef and owner even came out and spoke to us she was lovely, one of the best places in Cornwall would highly recommend!"
