"Ronin is a top notch sushi/sashimi restaurant! My girlfriend and I love sushi, and we’ve explored several sushi joints over the years, this one ranks in our top 3! Friendly staff, quality dishes, smiling faces, low key environment... what more could you want from a dinner place? The owner barely knows us but she always checks on every table during the course of our meal there, including ours. Can’t recommend Ronin enough! If you enjoy fresh sushi, flavored sakis, and beautiful/personable/courteous servers, Ronin is your place!"

"What happened?! My family has been coming here for over 25 years. It’s never been THIS BAD! I order vegetable fried rice from the hibachi side and ended up with a plate of soy soaked rice and broccoli. It was so salty and dark. They’ve never served it like that. Handed it back and they still tried to charge me for it. My husband and I couldn’t even eat it. My sushi had raw uncooked sweet potato that was supposed to be deep fried and everything tasted so stale, soggy and awful. Futomaki roll used to be a large roll with lots of filling, this time is was chewy and mostly just rice. And be careful because they charge you 18% gratuity automatically, but won’t tell you. The guy who makes the sushi is the ONLY reason we kept coming back.. always so nice and accommodating. Whoever owns the place now needs to quit being so cheap and go back to serving your customers real food. Especially for the price."

"This has to be one of the nicest restaurants we found in Daytona. Fantastic food, elegantly plated, and perfectly spiced I ordered the Red Curry w/o Coconut Milk, to get the heat I enjoy, and it was spiced quite well. The outside seating has to be the highpoint though, gorgeous patio with an open firepit. Wait staff share all patrons, there is never a lack of attention. Really, try this establishment if you desire quality vegan food in an elegant atmosphere."

"Woa! Who knew the best gf/ vegan ramen EVER was here in Daytona Beach! So, a lot of flavor. Usually vegan ramen is a bit bland, but not here. There was so much taste and added chili garlic oil absolutely made. The server recommended the gluten-free glass noodles that were easy and the perfect game. The spicy garlic-edamamas can also be made GF and you want it. It will be hard not to eat here every night while we are on holiday!"

"The waitress was not informed about their own menu. I asked her specifically if something on the menu came with sashimi. She said yes. When it came, it was not sashimi. I asked her about it, and instead of admitting she was wrong, she put the blame on me. Then she asked if I wanted to order something else... No thanks... I waited so long for the order to come even though we were the first ones in the restaurant that night. On top of the waitress being clueless, the food was not very good. I do not recommend this place at all. The food did not taste good; the sushi tasted not fresh. The service we got left a bad experience. Save yourself the trouble, and do not come here."
