"Highly recommended for lunch and afternoon tea, it offers a range of traditional Japanese sets which suits the taste of general tourists, I ordered a meal that included tempura, a sweet jellylike dessert and unagi rice, food quality was great! I loved the view as we got to sit in the window space, the wait was also very short since it was a Monday, no reservations needed! The scenery creates a peaceful atmosphere with koi fish going about on the surface of the pool. Just a reminder that the resturant is located inside the garden, purchase of tickets is required to get in, but the price is reasonable for the sight seeing attraction itself."

"Wonderful sushi restaurant on the north side of downtown Himeji. The chef, sous chef, and wait staff were nothing but friendly and welcoming, and had a great time chatting with some other guests at the sushi bar. Nice variety of entree offerings, high quality fish, well-prepared sushi. So nice I had to visit two days in a row."

"5 minutes walk from the castle heavenji. a very friendly owner welcomed me. the restaurant is popular with local Japanese, and they can eat local Himeji cuisine in vegan. in particular udon, oden and tempura were the best. I'll be back."
