"Called in for lunch and we had the all you can eat buffet and thoroughly enjoyed it. Wide selection of sushi to choose from and all prepared on the spot. Very enjoyable! !"

"The food tasted good enough nothing groundbreaking, and I eat and cook a lot of Japanese food, but the actual dealbreaker was the service. we waited one hour, a whole hour, between the first and second cure of our o-makase menu. no explanation, no excuse. Given the very high price of food, this was obviously unacceptable."

"Lovely outlook and comfy chairs. Good drink service and tables clean Commenced with scallops in a nice sauce but needed to be balanced salt sugar. Oysters were beautiful big plump quality, however the topping was very sharp acidic. Raw king fish was beautiful all of...it. The chicken liver parfait is the nicest I've ever had. The crisp seeded lavish typebread is delicious. Served with prunes but again a sharp acidic juice needed balancing. Pork belly plentiful but poorly cooked dry base and soft crackling. Terrible coleslaw which is actually a nasty flavored vinegar?? Fish well cooked plentiful. Big meaty mushrooms didn't seem to match the delicate fish. Dessert chocolate mousse cream on chocolate crumb with raspberries was very nice. The sour dough bread is served with a type of butter whip...yuk it's like cheap margarine. I suggest to order off the menu and not go for the chef choices."

"The seitan duck burger was so nice. And they have plenty of vegan sauces and options. The burgers are not vegan as they come, you have to make them vegan. Some purely vegan burgers on the menu would be better. So we know we are not getting dairy by accident."

"Perfect! Amazing food every time we have visited. We're from New South Wales, and the first time we visited, we stumbled across it. Not being a seafood eater, I was pretty hesitant, but decided to give it a go to keep the other half happy. Oh my goodness. We were back the next night. Second visit to Hobart, we pre-booked for 3 out of our 5 nights. If you're looking for a delicious meal, in a beautiful setting, even if you're not a huge fan of seafood, it's worth giving it a go. I rarely eat seafood, but always look forward to our holidays to Hobart, mainly for Mures Upper Deck"

"Came over midori Japanese cuisine while they were eating in the afternoon while working in north hobart. beautiful event with Japanese laternen and artworks. service was friendly and the eating enjoyable. it was freshly cooked so that my order took a little longer to come to me. but it was worth waiting. well presented and tasty as I like it! I highly recommend this place."
