"Very good. I ordered ala Carte Kalua pig with Poi on the side. The taste was good for the dish Hawaiian foods and they did not add sugar or water on the Poi. Service was smart, fast and friendly. Not bad!"

"I think what I liked most about this place was customer service. The staff was friendly and nice! The location is excellent with simple parking. The part of the food was amazing!! Presentation is also good! Of course, it's not like the real Japanese restaurants in Japan, but they were good enough! The price was in the normal range."

"A Family Friendly Place For A Wonderful Meal Our family was craving something different for lunch, so we decided to try out Megumi Restaurant. It was busy, but we were able to get seated pretty quickly at a nice table with a high chair. Even though we arrived 25 minutes before lunch closed, the staff was very friendly. We ordered the sashimi salad, ikura nigiri, a rainbow roll and the scallop special with miso soups for all. The soups came pretty quickly, and we were provides a complimentary edamame bowl and complimentary tofu for our littlest one. The miso soup was delicious w/ plenty of seaweed, scallions, and tofu. The sashimi (maguro and hamachi) salad was delicious and fresh, and nicely portioned. The rainbow roll was made and the fish and avacado were really fresh. The ikura nigiri was delightful as well. While I didn't get a chance to try the scallops, they looked amazing. Even though the restaurant had finished its lunch service, they didn't hesitate when we ordered a second rainbow roll. The owner and staff were very friendly, and my youngest was playing with his hand while he talked to us. We will definitely be coming back!"

"OMG, you guys, soooooo good! This is my way to eat a quick bite. It is a literal hole in the wall that they could work in the thinnest business you will ever see. You'll know what I mean when you're here. I ALWAYS go with the LBS Special, which is a choice of poke and meat and I usually go in the shrimp empura for a $1. In addition, the LBS Special comes with a free drink. They use multi-grain rice which is not my Fave, but it doesn't matter to me because I feel healthier to eat. Haha! My favorite choices are: ahi poke, spicy ahi and kalua pig. I loved her calbi, but everyone since they served him, I skip this choice. I don't want to pay some meat on a big bone. Parking is hit or miss. So here are my suggestions: call in your order before time (even 5 or 10 minutes before and have a person jump out to get the order. Local Boy Sushi is a jewel in Kaneohe!!!"

"Excellent food and service! We had so much fun chatting with the employees here! The food was unforgettable! My son loved the California rolls. We enjoyed the Spicy Ahi Maki and the Philly roll. "When we first arrived, the line felt like long, but it moved quickly (it was a Friday night, so a line was expected). The above was excellent, but even it used in comparison to the food itself, which was absolutely amazing, and that is not a word I often used in the description of restaurants. Will definitely be back."
