"Me and my boyfriend have travelled a lot to Japan (lived there for a year) and Asia and not to mention that he is also thai, so we wanted to enjoy asian cusine. We went to Black Karate with some friends today and we ordered the Crispy duck with peanut sauce and some variety of sushi. I have to say we were a little bit disappointed compared to all the good reviews we saw here before we went. The duck was dry and drowning in peanut sauce which was tasteless :/, and the green tea was way too bitter.The sushi was mediocre and the rice were definitely not japanese styled (method) and not to mention the menu which had not only japanese dishes but thai, Chinese and korean mixed dishes which is not a good sign. However the service was okay.Overall, not much impressed and would not go again."

"Since more then 25 years I´m coming here to eat perfect sushi made by real japanese Ita-San, kitchen and service crew. One can sit direct at the bar or choose a table, but I prefer to sit at the bar and watch the Ita-San doing...his magic: creating and making real perfect Sushi which taste fabulous! I have been eating a lot of Sushi around the world, but this one is my home location. And it is that good, because close by is the Japanese Cultural Institute and the East-Asia-Museum, so the people working there like to eat here especially at lunch time during the week, but also for diner. This location has a real authentic japanese ambiente and interieur and also the japanese staff mainly speaks japanese and only a few words German or English. But the main thing is the really good Sushi here and the way it is done, always perfect fresh and going along with a nice fresh Kirin or Ashai beer the evening is perfect. I come here regulary about once a month since 26 years and I will be back soon. I made some new pictures from the last diner with my two sons, who love to come and eat Sushi here too and load them up right now."

"I can say as long as we had nothing to say! The restaurant was always a good experience in my mouth. The restaurant is actually very stylishly furnished. No cheap decoration, but it was really much really good looking matched to each other. The place really has potential to become my new favorite place. In the restaurant you will receive both: Sympatic and Fleet Superior."
