"There isn't anything I can say about JO2 that hasn't been said by other comments. It's fantastic. The staff was amazing, very accommodating and exceptionally polite. The food was pretty epic. The small plates hit the spot, especially the scallops. The large plates were excellent as well. I had the Ono fish and my wife the shrimp risotto (pictured). Both were delicious. And the drinks! Anything with honey in it! The empress honey bee and Waipake Julio were our drinks of choice and hit the mark. A bit thank you to our servers and the staff at JO2! You helped make our last night in Kauai special. Until next time!"

"We have only happened on this site and are planning to go back to big island. for us, from the mainland, it is a great tasty bite! it is transportband sushi, but on a boat they order from an ipad at their place. if they have children, I highly recommend stopping here, plus eating was delicious. eating is made quite fast, so a great stop between touring and touring objects they have: edamame, baked mosquitoes, oldashi tofu, tempura, gyoza, chicken caraage, sorted nigiri, gunkan inari, sushi rolls and even sushi bowls."

"The book “Kauai Revealed” has got this one wrong. Nothing special. Our neighbors were not happy with their Pad Thai, either. The “Craving Thai” food truck in Koloa and Bangkok Happy Bowl restaurant in Poipu both have better tasting food. The drunken noodle was rather bland. The pad thai, according to our neighboring table, was too sweet."

"On our first night staying at the Royal Sonesta we knew we wanted to eat something deliciously and filling after our flight in from the mainland. Kukui's on Kalapaki Beach delivered on that desire as everything ordered was cooked to great flavor perfection. From the wing dings, to the sushi, to the prime rib... we throughly enjoyed each dish! The prices were steep but that's a given being in the resort but with the ambiance with live music. It was worth it! Mahalo, Kukuis!"

"Yummy, fresh sushi. The hotel is located near the bar in Kukuis next to the pool at Kauai Marriott Resort in Lihue. You can also order at the counter, at the bar or at the Kukuis. Ordered the Shrimp tempura and the crispy spicy poke tacos. The shrimps were crispy, perfectly cooked and I regret to order only one part. The roll was accompanied by inlaid ginger and the usual washabi. The tacos were bad, cubed beautiful and covered with a fresh wonderful sauce. The awning shell was tasty and crispy and contrasts perfectly to the soft perfect. 6 Look forward to a return and try another an excellent role"
