"Did i like it
Yes. It's the first time I've tried to eat in a shabu-shabu so I don't really know what to expect but I had a great time and a full stomach.

Here's how it works, first you choose 2 broths, we tried satay and the spicy one (sorry, I forgot what it's called). Then choose the ingredients that you want to add to your broth. We had beef, seafood, some of the specialty balls, vegetables and noodles. Then each person would select a free item à la carte (only one-time order, for subsequent orders from this selection an additional fee will be charged).

The food was good. I loved the satay broth. The specialty balls and usda beef were fantastic with both broths we picked. I ordered the salmon sashimi for my a la carte free meal, but it wasn't thawed thoroughly. The only downside was the dessert as it could use some improvement.

The service was a little slow and we had to call the staff a couple of times to be entertained but it's not really that bad.

Is it affordable?
For the lunch buffet it is only 550 per person, but without drinks.

Am i coming back
Yes. It's one of the cheapest buffets I've known, and while the choice is limited, the food is still ok. :) :)"

"Yoshinoya is a Japanese fast food restaurant known for its beef bowls. Directly translated as Yoshi's shop, since Yoshi is a name, no indicates possession, and ya means shop This place has an area downstairs where you can order food to-go when you're in a hurry but if not, I suggest you visit the second floor shop. Once you make your way up, you'll appreciate the bright orange color that adorns the interiors of the restaurant, in my opinion, it has a cute vibe to it I then ordered the Beef Misono meal. It's a rice bowl with Sukiyaki beef cuts. That's how we call these slices of meat in my former job, but not sure if it's a common term for it....read more"

"Look for Yoshinoya if you want a fast food Japanese menu... Food are just seasoned quite enough to deliver that authentic taste.???????????? I would say that this really taste better ????than it's other fast food chain riva - read it's name twice ????

The beef is just tender enough for me. The veggies are just perfectly blanched????... just didn't like the taste of the Green tea cold drink now. I can say that the taste has changed from what it used to be. I have not savored the Red tea if that is better though. But we appreciate the yummy desserts that they have...

Good value for money. This place is quite spacious and love the new theme of Yoshinoya. Did not have the chance to take pics of the place though."

"One thing I loved here is that the food, almost everything, was good! That's not to say it's ridiculously good, but it's good tasting food for a buffet. But am I the only one who has observed that the food that is served in buffet form has almost the same taste? ... just presented in different ways.

Make sure you have a reservation or arrive early as it is so easy to pack. You have a lot of space in the restaurant, although you hardly notice it when you are eating. HAHA! What I like about Yakimix are the different grilled dishes they offer. I wish they could have a wide variety of desserts too. Still, I enjoyed the meal without putting a whole lot of money in my wallet.
"

"You can't help but fall in love with the simplicity and the humble interior of this restaurant. It's small and quite hidden, a perfect getaway with your friends or maybe even your relatives whenever you're into some warm, cosy meals at very reasonable prices. Despite the odd but extremely popular reputation of vegan food being soulless and bland, Wabi Sabi, like many other vegan/vegetarian restaurant nowadays, is anything but.

We arrived at Wabi Sabi at about 8:20pm after a long walk. We weren't familiar with the place so we had to ask around.

NOTE: Upon asking for directions, just mention The Collective and when you get there, just ask some of the waitresses to get to Wabi Sabi. You'll pass by the comfort rooms and then at the very straight end, you'll find Wabi Sabi beside Juicesabel (Another vegan/vegetarian restaurant that I ought to try next time) on the right side.

I ordered the Banh Mi and Mushroom Shumai while my cousin, who wasn't a vegan, ordered the... read more"

"Back to that hidden gem in the corporate center in Salcedo. There is a big “YES!” When my friend asked me if I was okay to have dinner in Tsumura.

My first meal is definitely a good experience, everything is soooo delicious. We tried to go to a few restaurants in the Makati area but most of them are closed on Sundays. Good news! Tsumura is open ????

This place is underrated, not as popular as other Japanese restaurants we knew. But I can say that this place is authentic Jap Resto .. simple .. there are a lot of Japanese are dinners ????

Last night I enjoyed everything:

For starters we had Chikuwa Cheese Age (P220) 4 pieces of squid filled with cheese. It's like an updated version of calamari. I love it!

For our main course we had Ebi Tempura (P590), 5 pieces of prawns, served with vegetarian tempura. Delicious plump prawns ????. Another is Beef Usuyaki (P690) 6 pcs. One of my favorites here, it's made of mushrooms wrapped in thin beef garnishes with thin strips of carrot .... read more "

"I've wanted to try Tonkatsuya since then, but I don't have the time even though the location of this restaurant is in Makati. Years have passed, but I still haven't tried Tonkatsuya to the point where I've forgotten its existence due to the sprouting restos in the metropolis.

It was 2 weeks ago when I noticed that there was a new Japanese restaurant near me. At first I didn't realize it's Tonkatsuya. It took me 2 long weeks to try their food, still not knowing that it is Tonkatsuya and not just an ordinary Jap place. I just realized everything when reading their menu.

I ordered their bestseller, the Tonkatsu set, while my mother had the Ebi tempura set. Everything was excellent! No oil can be seen in the peel, even though it is fried. I love how you can share your order and still get your fill. The only thing missing is the dressing for the cabbage. You have to pay an additional fee for the dressing. However, you can use the Katsu sauce or the Kikoman-like sauce / Japanese soy sauce (not sure what that is) for the cabbage.

Cant wait to try the other sets, especially the one with curry! The price is super cheap and you know it's an authentic Japanese restaurant because you will see Japanese people eating there. The staff are very enthusiastic and you will immediately feel at home. Kudos to you!

I recommend this place! Try it out now!
"

"I love this to-go branch of tokio tokio. Moreover, it is open hours! if they are in a hurry or just want to get their Japanese quick bits satisfied, this is for them the last thing I tried was the wagyu cube. they know it is not authentic when they have tasted the legit wagyu cubes, but the sauce and the taste they will order for more!"

"Had lunch here on a weekday and surprisingly, the place wasn’t that full of customers. I had what I usually order at Tokyo Tokyo Kani Salad, Honey Chicken Teriyaki and Coffee Jelly. Service is quick as they serve the food immediately. The chicken teriyaki was just okay but I really find most of their meals so oily. Their iced tea still tastes great and I love the coffee jelly I never miss getting this whenever I eat there."
