"We went to the Mall of Asia for dinner after doing some shopping. We couldn't decide where to eat so we took dad to the new # MOAEATS hall. It's a relatively "new" area next to the IMAX theater where you can try different restaurants. Last time we were here we were only allowed to try Morganfields and Paper Moon. <br>

We checked the menu for most and ended up in Tenya. The photos outside were very convincing. Plus, I've been craving tempura for a while now. <br>

I got the Asakusa Soba Set, which contained 3 pieces of tempura with vegetable tempura, a cup of rice and cold soba noodles. The noodle set can be soba or udon and both can be either hot or cold. My dad is a fan of hot udon so he got that. ???? <br>

The whole set could fill me up. Glad I have to have cold soba but if you choose this set there will be no miso soup. The Teishoku set includes miso soup. <br>

"Place - Place was a bit ordinary and the ambiance is like what you feel when you are in a fast food chain. We went here as this is the only restaurant with few people considering there were a lot of people at MOA at the time. <br>

"If you want some Japanese dish. Avoid this place. Try another restaurant or branch. Place if dirty. Although there are AC's the place is very hot. The staff seems like they don't want to work. The table next to us got their drink with a bug. Food ia typical fast food it was okay."

"I went here once because I was curious and because I love surf and turf. To say that I was disappointed would be an understatement. The food taste like it is straight out of a pack. The seafood taste like frozen nuggets. The shirmp taste like it had freeze burns. All in all a total disappointment. So not worth the price I paid."

"DO NOT EAT HERE!!! There is a reason why there weren't people going to this place and it's not because it is beside Tim Ho Wan. Because it is not a good place to eat! 1. Aircon was dead and dripping. 2. Menu was in tatters just like the rest of the place. 3. Crew was untrained and nowhere to be found. 4. Food was dry and not cooked well. <br>
I hate to say it but this branch managed to f@$k up very basic stuff on their menu. How the heck do you go wrong with Gyudon??? I had eaten gyudon from their other branches and it was good! I don't usually ask anyone to fix anyone to food that has been served because that is just asking for the crew to mess with your food. But i had to ask the server why my gyudon was dry and she told me that i could put soysauce from the bottle! Seriously!? Come on! It's like they paper toweled the damned thing and served it on cold rice! No moisture left! You know when you order take out to eat at the office but you got stuck at meetings and...

Parking was difficult. It was a Saturday and considering that the place is located in MOA it's to be expected, we just didn't expect it to be that difficult, unless you are willing to park 2 far blocks away, and walk to the resto, which we all did.<br>

Undertrained Staff. The staff working the floor were busy converging in the cashier area gossiping and laughing at whatever they were talking about. I think they may have thought that, with the collective noise generated from all the diners, they will not be noticeable, unfortunately our table was just right next to the said area that the oldies found it irritating and grating on their nerves. It would have been fine if they were aware of the diners' needs, like in our case, (we needed 2 extra placings and tissues) but they were quite happily just ignored...
