"Showed up to a dirty table cloth and everyone crammed on top of each other in one area. Food was good but on the expensive side for size of rolls. Great service (kept the drinks coming was very friendly). Overall, a little overrated but not bad."

"Horrific. I'm shocked by the positive reviews of this restaurant. Maybe because it's close to the schools. I do NOT suggest it. Stale avocado, rancid shrimp, and grey salmon. I've been 3 times and it's so much worse than the other sushi spots in Providence. I can only think its walking distance to colleges makes it popular. Service is slow and disrespectful all 3 times. Go anywhere else."

"We called ahead to reserve a seat. When we arrived we were told it would be a twenty minute wait for hibachi. We were directed to wait at the bar and they would come get us when the table is ready. They seated four other groups prior to us. We had to leave the bar after thirty minutes of waiting. The lady acted as if she didn't forget about us. Then it took us another forty minutes to get a chef. The food was decent. The prices are average. They neglected to recognize our birthdays while celebrating "

"Disappointed by typical americanized cuisine.. Unfortunately, the usual salty, over-greased Asian fare. I ordered the Cashew Chicken lunch special with pork fried rice and wanton soup. (take-out I started with the soup which had a rather bland yellow broth with slightly chewy wantons. Overall, the experience was salty and flavorless with only a tinge of scallion Once I was finished with the soup, which I often use to judge the freshness of a restaurant, I moved on to the rice. Again it was your average oily, dark brown rice with traces of a few vegetables. "This my favorite sushi spots in Providence. We stopped by late on a Wednesday night, and got counter seats (my personal favorite spot). We tried: age dashi tofu (friend tofu in a dashi broth) hamachi (yellow tail) nigiri sake (salmon) sashimi unagi (eel) nigiri spicy scallop roll (off menu) rainbow roll You get two pieces for nigiri and sushi, and 3 pieces for the salmon. The quality of the fish is incredible. The yellowtail was one of the best cuts of fish I’ve ever tasted. We went back for seconds! The pricing is incredibly affordable and the staff is the sweetest."
