"Such a scam. Ordered this oden soup from the menu, first picture is how it looks and the second is what we received. When we asked the server why it didn’t look anything like the picture they rudely told us its just an image and what is our problem. What is the point of putting pictures on the menu if the real serving looks nothing like it? Over all not a good experience."

The prices are surprisingly reasonable, making it accessible for a wide range of diners. We tried both cold and hot udons, and each had their unique, intricate flavors and textures that wowed us. The side dishes were equally impressive, featuring fried burdock and squid that were cooked to perfection. The specialty udons are a must-try. Probably the top authentic udon shop in the lower mainland"

"I love this restaurant!! Me and my husband are almost regulars of this restaurant for many years. The quality has always been very good; food is always fresh, healthy and tasty. "This place is amazing! I've been there maybe 5 times over a span of 8 months and the last time I was there the waitress remembered me and what I always order! It was totally unexpected and so nice that they actually put in the effort to get to know their customers and what they like to eat! On top of this, it is very authentic Japanese food always amazing and always great service. Highly recommend!"

"Jinya ramen is one of the most popular ramen spots in Vancouver. Jinya ramen has a few locations but we went to the downtown location this time. As expected, it was a full-house when we arrived at 6pm on a weekend and despite the fact that it was zero Celsius, they forced us to stand OUTSIDE to wait! I was not about to wait outside for half an hour so we headed back into the mall and waited for their text to let us know our table was ready"
