"The food is great, the service is also great. However, it is a bit expensive, with other sushi sites that I have been like Yo Sushi, Show Sushi and Kabuki. I mean, it's not one of these sushi fine dining restaurants where the sushi are really expensive because the supplier they use are the top, but I feel that the price at Yanagi is almost similar to those, so I find it very unusual for them to calculate that much. But all and all good experiences. The servers are respectful. It is clean and very quiet ambience for immersion."

"I bought Dining for charities coupons that are printed NEVER EXPIRE. I believe I paid $25.00 for $50.00 in credit. I ate here years ago and was not impressed and was frankly surprised they were still open. My go to place is Goishi but with the 1/2 off I thought I would try again. For being a Japanese Restaurant I was suppressed that it seems all workers, cooks, front staff were Latinos. After eating a very forgettable dish and consuming supermarket quality sushi I again wondered how this placed stayed in business. To add insult to injury the confrontational Hispanic manager would not accept the DINNG FOR CHARITIES saying there was fraud. Seems the ONLY fraud is this PATHETIC PLACE who likes to steal people money from Charities! EVERYONE should boycott these crooks PLUS their Mexican food take on Japanese food is just horrible."

"Excellent dishes! Chefs were attentive and are just awesome at their creations. Service not that great and needs improvement. I had to rely on another very friendly female server. She was great. Our main male server never made any attempt to follow up. He basically ignored us. Tall blonde guy."

"I love sushi, found this place on our drive home and thought we give it a go. Wish we hadn’t, sushi rolls had a think amount of rice, fish was not fresh. We ordered to go and all I can say is the food made it straight to the trash when we got home. I wanted to love it but we didn’t."

"You sorta get what you pay for because of the slightly low prices. Hardly any protein in the dishes. My ramen broth tasted like it came from a packet and the added protein was 5 thin slices of grilled chicken and 5 small cubes of tofu . No eggs. Bell pepper was added, very oddly ."
