"We are regulars here! Imo best sushi in Slidell and for 16.95 you get a soup, salad, and 3 rolls off the dinner menu! Picture is of 2 Travis rolls and the Shrimp roll! Side of spicy mayo! And of the Miso soup! I can honestly vouch for the Travis roll, it has crab, crawfish, and avocado! Ask to be seated at John?s section, he?s been our server for several years now and never disappointed us!"

"So we’ve been going to Fuji Yama for couple of years now and it’s the only Japanese hibachi restaurant we’ll ever patronize in Slidell area. When we dine in, it’s always the hibachi option but last nite, we end up doing a takeout and tried quite a few sushi options $40) and their hibachi dinner combos, chicken and shrimp $21) and Chicken and scallops $22) and the seafood combo $37) for 5 people and it was good. The food came with soup and salad. The staff is polite, courteous and prompt. Their are quite a few pretender Japanese restaurants in the area but I won’t recommend ‘em."

"Good food. Wasn't blown away, honestly. I got the chicken tempura bento box for lunch, my mom got the chicken teriyaki bento. Great servings, for 10 bucks each we got a soup, salad, a side of edamame, fried rice, four california rolls, 2 gyoza, and our main entree. The gyoza was a bit crunchy for preference. The rice was definitely lacking, zero flavor. But the food is still decent for the price and the service wasn't spectacular, but she was nice and prompt."
