"Six of us had dinner at Thai Sun in Waterloo. We enjoyed avocoda rolls as an appetizer. We ordered the Dancing Noodle dish and the Chicken and Shrimp with cashews with rice. All the food was delicious and the servings were generous. The restaurant was...quiet, easy to have a conversation with our family friends."

"My wife and daughter and I go out for lunch (almost) every Saturday and our tastes are all over the place. We often opt (at least once a month) for Sakura. Their food is always well prepared and visually appealing, service is good and the pricing reasonable. Not a large restaurant and when busy it can get noisy but worth the money for Japanese fair."

"Very okay sushi restaurant. I have been coming here for years and quality has dipped as of late. That being said, it’s not bad, it’s just not great. I do recommend Sushi 99 if you want quick and serviceable sushi at a fairly average price."

"This was our first time at S&V. I follow them on Instagram and have been wanting to go. It did not disappoint! Our meals were outstanding. I ordered the tortellini main course, which had so many complex flavours. For example, there was a tempura mushroom that was almost more of a garnish, but each bite unbelievable. We were served by Maddie and she was an absolute delight friendly and attentive without ever intruding on the experience. This will be our new go to place for special occasions."

"Highly recommend fast and delicious!! Pictured are the Lemon Chicken and the Sweet Sour Rib luncheon specials, which were so full, they had elastics on them (are some before this photo, too hungry to wait, lol) Fantastic prices, especially these days! Freshly cooked and piping hot so good!!! Friendly staff and cute atmosphere; would have probably made time to eat in if the patio was open. Will definitely be going back to try more :)Parking: Small lot, but always spots available."

"Ordered online there is a COCKROACH in my ribs ramen soup. Saw it after finishing the noodles. Really gross me out and I ended up throwing up. This is the worst experience ever！Don't go to this place if u DON‘T want roaches in your food！！！"

"Definitely my favourite sushi spot in Kitchener-Waterloo! I always come back because I overall love their menu. They have great sushi rolls and the best chicken karaage.The staff is also very sweet and efficient. Whenever we go, they are always quick to greet seat us or put our name down to wait for a table. The tables move fairly fast from my experience and I think the longest I've ever had to wait was 30 minutes (super busy that time but it's always worth it!This visit we got the Ice Fire roll, Spicy Salmon roll, and 2 orders of the chicken karaage. I highly recommend their Salmon oshizushi as well as the grilled pork cheek and Salmon carpaccio.The Pink Lady cocktail is a favourite as well and I really enjoy their tofu cheesecake!The only problem would be the parking. There isn't usually available street parking that is fairly close to the restaurant (only sometimes if we're lucky! So be prepared to walk a little bit!"

"Food is great. We eat here at least once a month. The Sashimi is great, always fresh and like everything else on the menu, is unlimited. Shrimp, mussels, and sushi rolls are all very good. The overall atmosphere is pleasant and the pricing is reasonable. Seniors get a 20% discount -- just tell them you are a senior when you are seated."
