"This use to be one of my local haunting places when I first arrived to Wellington several years ago. During this time I have seen new restaurants pop up and close down, but Miyabi still stands. So there must be something about Miyabi were people keep coming back. I visit this place from time to time generally ordering either a donburi, one of the set menus or a soba dish with one to two entrees.<br/ <br/ Check out my website for a more indepth review"

"Stumbled on this Japanese restaurant at the stylish new Press Hall Food Court Off Willis Street. Wide range of prefabricated vegan sushi and several ordered vegan dishes, including Agedashi Tofu, Kaarage Tofu, vegan tempura dish and a vegan bento dish. Beautiful selection of wines and beers as well as will and whisky! Not everything can be veganized, but what is offered is very tasty and well represented (also the udon and miso soup are not as they are made in traditional Japanese style with bonito). In any case it is worth coming here for a Japanese food fix! Would give five stars, but Happy Cow Reserves, which for fully veg*n restaurants. Updated by previous review on 2018-04-23"

"The chippery is great if you're in a delicious greasy mood. Generous proportions at a fair price. The fish is battered very nicely, crunchy on the outside while moist in the inside. The curly fries are a MUST along side their home made aioli."

"It’s hard to complain about a place where the food literally appears before your eyes. The sushi is good. The fish is fresh and the rice portions are kept in perspective ie not gigantic. Tiramisu is a little out of character but probably loved by many."

"My friends and I love to dine at Long Xiang! Starting with the food, Long Xiang has a great menu to choose from. Their entrees are fantastic so I would definitely recommend you try them out; my favourite is the shrimp dumpling soup. For the mains my friends and I find it works best to share the dishes. My favourites are the Beef in Black Bean Sauce, the Bbq Pork, and they cook a mean fried rice too. They also include ample amounts of vegetables with the meats so the meals are well-balanced and pleasant to eat.<br/ <br/ But what I think really makes Long Xiang a great restaurant is the service. The female manager is an absolutely delightful host who always makes us feel welcome. We truly appreciate her humour and hospitality and it pleases us to support this local business. Thank you Long Xiang!"

"Mmmmmmmmm loved it. Really loved the asian twist on the flavours. My Korean chicken main, tempura prawns entree were fantastic. The only downer was that the dessert was too rich and hard to fit in. Liked it so much I purchased another voucher off Grabone. See you soon again!"
