"Good food and service. My wife was not so keen to eat here, not being a big fan of sushi. However, there were non sushi alternatives that were also quite good.She had a fried chicken, egg, and rice bowl she was very pleased with, while I had a box meal that featured beef tips, fried veggies, sushi rolls and salad. Every bit of the meal it was quite good.Will definitely return on my next trip to the area."

"I have been here several times in last several years, but I don’t think I’ll be coming back. Staff is friendly, but cost does not cover the quality, we were 3 adults and 2 small children. Nearly 300 for our meals. Started off with very poor judgement from the chef who terrified the children with his wild flame. From that point on, nothing he did was right for his audience. Then then food was cold, because he started with warming the rice and noodles, so by the time he got to the meat everything was cold or our plate was empty. Then I noticed that all the kids had a cardboard harm except for my grandson, like that 1,40 is going to make a big difference for he restaurant. Not at all Impressed. Finally let’s talk about the portions, I used to go there and have enough leftovers for lunch next day, I mean we are talking rice and pasta mostly, forget that!!! I finished my plate!!"

"I had bought a Groupon for 2 at Komiko and booked my reservation on-line. The Groupon had a value of $43.98 but I paid only $23.20. I could only use the coupon from Monday to Thursday after 5 pm. The Our waitress, Jenny, seated us quickly and explained what we could order and what was not included on this special. Request the ginger/washabi once you order, as it seems they do not bring it over or already have it on the table. We didn't wait that long for our food to arrive.We started with 2 soups, miso and wonton. Both arrived hot but unfortunately has no real flavour. For our entrees, we ordered peanut butter dumplings, chicken dumplings and spicey wings. Both dumplings were good but the wings were not at all spicy and had no flavour. The tempura shrimp were very good, not greasy. We then ordered their Homosaki (3 rolls) of spicy salmon and tuna. Both were good. We also ordered the Futomaki (5 rolls). We chose their kamakazi, dynamite, california and boston. Once again they were good. I also ordered some Sashimi, salmon, tuna and crab. They only one that I really liked was the fresh salmon, the tuna and crab were watery, maybe because they had been frozen. All in all, the presentation of the sushi was pretty ordinary, not dressed up at all. I had to pay the taxes and the tip was also included, giving me a total of $12.94. It's a good deal for 2, if you have a discount coupon but I think there are better places to try.This restaurant is located on St-Denis almost at the corner of Rene-Levesque Blvd. They have been at this location for about 5 1/2 years. Enjoy."

"I enjoy the Avoin and yield bread and the Teriyaki chicken with vegetables and molten Swiss cheese. You need to taste the cookies especially macdamian nut hmmmmm tasty or 12 for 5$"

"This place is phenomenal. The food is basically home cooked Taiwanese food. The service is extremely friendly and hospitable, though a bit slow. This lack of fast food speed is because there is only one cook producing this wonderful food.Want vegetarian, the cook will omit the meat and add something else.Hate cauliflower, the cook will add extra whatever you want.The noodles are hand made just for your order, never premade hours before, and definitely not the dry tasteless type.How do I know? Firstly I've been going there almost 20 years. Secondly my wife is Chinese and she loves that place. When I first started going there I really felt out of place, I was the only white person there. Everyone else was Chinese.Give it a try"

"My wife and I had dinner here last night. Despite not booking they had a table for us. Service was quick and food was good. I had spring roll and chicken chow mein. Only downside was after paying the bill the waitress returned to advise that the tip should have been minimum 15%. Coming from Scotland not used to this 'culture'. So would recommend as long as you're aware of this unwritten rule."

"Hot spot of sushi togo in the centre of financial district ,there is always line up, but the line goes pretty fast, I love their fresh sushis, good service , cozy place, affordable price. It's MUST go place when u r craving for sushi !!!!"
