"Such a cute little Japanese cafe! Their food was exquisite, and so delicious! I had the chicken doria, and it had a lovely egg hidden in the middle, with runny yolk too! My friend tried the tuna mayo don, and the portion was huge! Will definitely come back for a second time!"

"We went there on a weekend for an early lunch and we were not disappointed. The place is located in an alley at the heart of the city. The alley itself has a alot of culture to it, which was a very welcoming experience. The prices were reasonably cheap ($2.20-$3.20/sushi). They also cater for larger groups, inform in advance though. It was a good experience over-all."

"Good ravens! Not mindblowing, but a very good standard. They sung my order, but I enjoyed the rams they chose for me anyway:"

"After reading so many great reviews here on TA and being big fans of Japanese cuisine, we thought this was definitely not a place to miss while on our recent stay in Adelaide. What a let down. Maybe coming from Melbourne we're spoilt with a myriad of fantastic restaurants which do simply gorgeous food that we had a higher level of expectation? That's the only reason we can think of to explain the reviews here as compared with our own taste experience. Anyway, we ordered the Beef Tataki, the medium size Deluxe sushi and sashimi platter, Tempura Soba noodles, and a couple cups of green tea. The beef tataki was a real let down. The beef slices were too thick so it wasn't all that good texture-wise due to that fact and the curing juices didn't do it any justice either, not enough acidity. The flavour just wasn't there. My partner didn't mind the Soba noodles but for me it was only ok. The tempura items were also not very nice. The batter wasn't as crisp and light as most of the more mediocre Melb outlets. The sushi and sashimi platter was the only fairly decent dish. There were a couple of sushi rolls there that were really nice as it was an it smokey but the rest of it was average, not any better than the kind of sushi and sashimi you can find just about anywhere even in shopping mall food courts. I don't know how they can get this wrong but even the green tea was bad. It was very weak, it was mostly just hot water, and was just lukewarm, not hot. They gave us a complimentary bowl of edamame but this also was below average as they weren't fresh and plump but small, shrivelled looking peas and the flavour was not all that good. We left most of it. I'd only be able to rate this place 2 stars at best. At least service was quite fast especially considering it was pretty much a full house and a relatively big restaurant."

"On my visit to The Market Shed’s Twilight Market, my friend and I scoured the stalls looking for the beautiful mini doughnuts posted on Instagram. After getting through a couple of savoury courses, we found them – success! There were six flavours on offer 6 per doughnut) and we picked one each – Turkish delight and peanut butter. Disclaimer – we didn’t get to eat these on the night so refrigerated them overnight to taste test the next day. Raw Karma’s doughnuts are vegan, paleo, and gluten-free, and wow are they filling! Whilst they may look small, the dough is less of a dough and more like a fudge – dense and packed full of flavour. The peanut butter doughnut is topped...read more"

"Called in here with my family (2 kids) for a quick dinner after a busy afternoon shopping and it was a great experience. Its a small place, with all the seats arranged around the train. The sushi is excellent and the staff very attentive - anything not on the train is easily ordered and arrives quickly. The prices are very reasonable considering the standard of service and the quality of the food (under $70 for 4 people, including beer with the meal for the 2 grown ups). The nature of the place isn't conducive to a long romantic evening meal for couples, but highly recommended for a solo or small group looking for a quick meal with sensational fish and great value."

"Very good experience every time I go, freshest fish and original recipes of sushis and rolls, can not stop eating. The same system as in sushi train, but with higher standards. No chain. Chef is Japanese, very nice to watch as he works before you..."
