"This place is really close to my house and it has REALLY good Japanese food. Every time we decide to eat here we order the Choice of 3 Bento I feel like im getting a great deal! For $21 we get lots of main protein helping and a small miso soup. When we 're feeling like having sushi, we personally recommend the Hamachi Lover. Solid choice consistently a good roll! My family is Japanese and my father is a really stict critic of Japanese food saying that nothing is as good as mother 's cooking. He gives this place as thumbs up! Some other dishes worth ordering is the grilled Squid (Ika). Soft, buttery, and the sauce that compliments it is a joy!"

"Average Bento lunch, good vegetarian options. Unfortunately the salmon teriyaki bento lunch is very hit or miss. The rice was drier, long grained rice which is quite non traditional. It comes with a thin and slightly over cooked piece of salmon with a watery sauce not at all a thick or luxurious teriyaki sauce. The spicy tuna rolls and salad are lackluster and sloppily made. On the other hand, the tempura veggies were pretty good and you get a nice variety. The miso soup is actually really delicious. My friend got Chinese dishes with meatless substitutes and those were actually quite delicious. I'd suggest going for that instead of the bento."

"I came here with high expectations of their food, but their attitudes toward their customers ruined my first experience here. The chef who would pause his work in the kitchen and ask his customers not to use their phones would throw his customers out of the restaurant bc there is not enough space to chatter. The service here was quick and efficient, which is good because they understand that they are a small place and need to be efficient with their time. I would say that the person assisting us was kind and was welcome to answer any questions we had and also recommended what was good for any first-timers."

"I don't normally like leaving bad reviews...but occasionally the situation calls for it. I had an awful experience at this place. Kamameshi House Japanese Cuisine is not an actual Japanese restaurant, it's Filipino owned venue that serves Japanese cuisine. We came here on a rainy Saturday evening. The restaurant wasn't all that busy, but it looked like they had lots of orders for pick up. Our massive party of 17 were seated towards the back of the restaurant. Kudos to them for accommodating such a large party: Adults seated at the large main table and the kids had their own table as well. The particular spot I was seated had cigarette smoke smoke hovering around...just couldn't get rid of it! I sat at the very end of the table facing the restaurant with the kitchen at my back. It literally felt like someone was smoking in the kitchen and the smoke was coming through into the restaurant. Cigarette smoke is a my kryptonite...it's the one thing that can make me ill on a regular basis. Sooo...I got sick that evening. I was coughing up a storm all evening and even left the table to go outside the last 30 minutes. I'd still say the worst part of the evening was the service...there was none. First of all the food took forever and a half to come out...nothing complicated just rolls on the menu. By the time everything came out an hour and fifteen had gone by! Nobody checked up on our table, we didn't get any refill for water or tea...nothing! Food: Lover's Roll 3/5 Note. Eat the roll with the Lemon slice on it, thus giving it a slightly different flavor. Other wise just a mediocre roll. Exotic Roll 2/5 Nothing special. Just a standard sushi roll. Hard pass on coming here ever again..."
