"Yaku has been in the Podium from the start. Other restaurants there have closed but this yakitori specialty place has always found its niche in the Ortigas area.<br> The prices are very reasonable from the sashimi, sushi and yakitori plates to tempura and chicken teriyaki.<br> Recommended dishes are:<br> Yaku platter Php229 - can't make up your mind on what yakitori (Japanese sticks of BBQ) then get this mixed platter of gindara, pork belly, asparamaki, quail egg, okra and chicken with onion leeks.<br> Sashimi Mariawase - assorted sashimi at only Php319.<br> California Maki only for Php149.<br> Ebi Tempura - for only Php269, they have nicely battered shrimps.<br> <br> Yaku is cozy. Good for intimate dinners. Dark interiors that work well with some shots of house sake (Php179 per order good for 4 to 5 shots).<br> Parking at the Podium is easy even on weekends compared to Megamall. <br><br><a href="https://www.zomato.com/spoonback?u=http%3A%2F%2Fboodlebear.wordpress.com&amp;r=30133728&amp;to=3033855&amp;k=25a49a3f3f4a79ef706e868343784f74" target="_blank"><span class="left red-text">boodlebear.wordpress.com</span><span class="grey-text left ml5" data-icon="ŧ"></span></a>"

"Ayala's newest mall, 30th is one of the nearest malls from work. And lately when I have no food blogs or meetings to go to, I go here for lunch. I just have to bear the really hot weather lately as I walk here. In their lower ground area are a number of restaurants and Pepper Lunch occupies one of the biggest spots.&nbsp;<br> <br> I got their signature Chicken Pepper. Its meat was presented half cooked and I was expected to either put sweet honey brown sauce and/or savory pepper gravy to it. This then enables a sizzling effect which then allows it to cook further. Watch out though as it gets really hot. Also don't put too much of sauce because the dish is already flavored.&nbsp;<br> <br> I also ordered extra curry powder for just Php 10. I was planning on having curry sauce but they were charging me a hefty Php 130 for that.&nbsp;<br> <br> For more nutritional content, I added a side of extra beansprouts, corn and french beans for Php 40 and a Sesame Chicken Salad, a salad in a cup for Php 99. These were good complimentary additions to balance my heavy lunch. <br><br><a href="https://www.zomato.com/spoonback?u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.alwayshungry.ph&amp;r=30384048&amp;to=8697461&amp;k=017316c881838b38929d7e8ef626e93c" target="_blank"><span class="left red-text">alwayshungry.ph</span><span class="grey-text left ml5" data-icon="ŧ"></span></a>"

"Tuan Tuan, is one of my favorite restaurants in Megamall. It positions itself as the first Chinese Brasserie in Manila. <br> <br> I usually order their set meal which consists of Tom Yung Goong, Teriyaki Chicken, and a cup of their hot coffee. The Tom Yung Goong was pleasant, though very mild. Chicken, had a crisp exterior and enough Teriyaki sauce that does not overpower the slight saltiness of the poultry. The chicken seemed grilled as it has a few burnt marks on the skin which is normal in this type of method. Coffee, had a good milk base, which did not come out too strong that complimented the meal well.<br> <br> For to go, I make it a point to order their snow buns. It's like their competitor's pork buns but I like Tuan Tuan's better. It has a biscuit like exterior that gives an extra crunch, but there seems to be another layer of the bread underneath which contrasts the crust with a chewy bread texture. Of course let us not forget the sweetened pork filling which is the core of this dish with generous slices of savory pork.<br> <br> Tuan Tuan for me is a gem at megamall. The food is truly comforting which makes me go back for more. Price per head is at 350 - 700 pesos per head."

"The food is affordable and the interior/exterior is appealing. Even if there is nothing special about the food, it is still worth a try! Me and my family eats here frequently. What made me give this restaurant a low rating was because I was surprised to see that about 2-4 waiters were sleeping (yes, they were lying down on the chairs) in the small private area and it was very unprofessional."

"The tuna sandwich is the best! It's also good that you can have all the vegetables in one sandwich. ???? On the other hand, the place in Glorietta is too small. You need to have someone with you to take a seat while you make your sandwich choices. Lol."

"Glad you got rid of your stupid trainees! (2018). spilled water here and there, dropped a fork here, dropped something there, almost everywhere! gave us the wrong order, some of our food didn't arrive, and we were billed with food that wasn't even our order! the only consolation that's why I keep going back?...food tastes good!"

"AMBIENCE Restaurant was roomy with not too many customers throughout our stay, and the layout of tables and chairs wasn't cramped up. Entrance is wheelchair-friendly, plenty of dine-in seats were available and air con was strong. A function room is available at P1,000/head (consumable) for a maximum of 20 people. For Zomato Gold perks, customers have to fill up their tiny forms themselves. One nice thing about their menu is having one specifically for Zomato Gold and the free dishes FOOD Tom Yum Goong was tasty, very sour and addicting enough to keep us scooping and sipping quite a number of times; loved it! Tod Mun Goong (Shrimp Cakes) had a crunchy coating and soft, warm shrimps. Best...read more"

"Starving coming out of our appointment at Medical City. My fiancée ordered the terriyaki chicken rice because she was looking for something filling. Terriyaki chicken, one would think that you couldn't mess that up but then again... it was pretty bad. It was like bad soy sauce mixed with stale sugar. Wasn't good! So she ate around the rice and smashed down the chicken.<br> <br> After that we decided to eat at Juju ears next door and then off to megamall to hit up the food hall"

"I wasn't planning to buy there but it was one of the stalls that opened early. Since we still want to buy from other stalls we just got the following: Salmon Sashimi, Gyoza and Crazy California Maki. I wasn't able to try the gyoza but I'd definitely recommend the sashimi and maki. We weren't expecting that much since it's just a food stall but the salmon sashimi was really fresh. It's just 6 slices so it was 'bitin' but for 170php per serving, I wouldn't complain. The Crazy California Maki was also good - it's a bit crunchy. We all loved the topping (kani). And there are 8 pieces of maki per serving for 190php. So worth it."
