"I used to work at Texas Roadhouse in college. So big fan. This place must have had an off day. We ordered ribs. 15 minutes later we were told they didn’t start cooking them for the day and they wouldn’t be ready to serve us. So we switched to ribeyes. Ordered the steak medium rare. The steak came out well done. After we were finished we wanted boxes but never saw our server again. Bad experience all around. Server manager didn’t offer anything, not even an apology, for the inconvenience. Given the ratings I presume an off day or this place is just about to go down hill."

"Good but in a county with a lot of BBQ options it 's only just that, good. The Texas brisket isn 't. I know they call it that but if you 've been to Texas you 'll know immediately that this doesn 't line up in comparison to Texas brisket. Is it bad? Nope, but it 's not great either. It 's just ok at best. The ribs are very dry, which I wasn 't expecting when I ordered the 'dry ' rub. Moist ribs with a smoke ring and delicious rub is what I was expecting, but what I got was dry ribs and a sugary rub that did little for the flavor. Maybe the wet ribs are different, I don 't know. But the dry rub were not worth the calories. The sides are also just okay, the best one we 're the collards. The Mac n cheese was not creamy, the baked beans were 100% out of a can, and the cole slaw was buried in mayo. The bright spot here was the customer service and the variety of sauces, especially the Carolina ones. Also, there was no one and I mean no one here on a Sunday afternoon at 3pm, maybe that was a sign? Either way this isn 't the BBQ spot for me. The Pit Stop or even Misson are a much better alternative."
