"I am a sucker for good mexican food and Nachos Cantina Mount Waverley, is one of my absolute favorite mexican places. I would recommend this place to everybody! DO TRY! <br/ <br/ I have had my birthday dinners there for 4 years consequently and will continue to do so. Unlike most places, their split bills makes it easier for everyone and makes the experience wonderful! <br/ <br/ My only problem with this place is that the back end of the restaurant is way too dark and needs some more lighting."

"Came here for the first time a month ago for the 2 for 1 ribs deal on Monday and tastes absolutely fantastic they make a brilliant smoky and sweet homemade Carolina BBQ sauce! A hearty meal with brilliant fries. The side salad is okay, nothing too exciting.<br/ <br/ Service is of standard and the food comes decently fast. <br/ <br/ Only complaint would be that the subsequent visits here have seen a reduction in the amount of ribs and fries on the plate. Still *just* worth it for the price though."

"Finished class at uni for the day and thought thank god it’s Friday..... so hey, why don’t we try TGIF southbank rushed in to escape the blistering cold Melbourne weather and was greeted at the door with a very welcoming smile no booking but the waiter was swift to reset a table! It was like a typical Wednesday night passing practice for the workers at TGIF, construction with the 6, into the 10s, through to the 9. Honestly it was a pleasure to watch! We were super hungry so just a couple of entrees to start calamari chicken wings were super and the Beef ribs with a tangy Texas BBQ sauce were full of flavour and fell effortlessly off the bone! The service was very friendly and always so attentive. Shout out to our waiter on the night. Didn’t quite grab his name upon departure but he certainly went above and beyond in every aspect to make our experience a pleasant one!"

"When I’m in the area I like to come here and always opt for the Texas beef bowl. Combined together with fresh ingredients and the meat is always cooked to perfection. This is an easy choice for me as I work nearby and never have any issues with the service. Just sometimes can be a bit of a wait."

"If there was a 3.5 star rating, that would really be more precise. Came here for the Smoked Brisket Burger and it did not disappoint, that's for sure. You really get your 17$ worth of meat there and it really just falls apart when you bite into it. You can really taste the smokiness and the amount of effort put into making the burger. I will say, I would've added a tad bit more seasoning to the meat. The sauce can be a little overbearing. Also tried the truffle fries, which was standard fries and nothing to boast about. Quite stingy with the truffle salt. Would not recommend ordering it. The staff was extremely observant and constantly making sure my drink water was filled. Super friendly and attentive. This would be a great place to bring your date. We sat by the window and it was cozy and private and really nice. The dark ambiance of the place really brings out a fine dining experience without the price tag."

"I have been 3 times and the foods been great. I don't really like the interior. Portions are good. Beer available is worth a few swigs. Recently changed its name to The Runaway Scrape. They still have the same BBQ dishes and they have improved the interior."

"The Dear Luncher was off his chops when he made the decision to waltz into TGIs a place not frequented since 2010. The staff member working the table was extremely accommodating, providing advice on which drinks had the most booze in them. The Dear Luncher has never had a full pint glass of Long Island Iced Tea before, but there's a first time for everything.<br/ <br/ The pulled pork fried were great.<br/ <br/ The ribs were decent too, albeit lacking substantial levels of meat. Must have been an aneorexic pig. The Dear Luncher had serious munchies though, it probably didn't matter what was ordered, it would have been good."
