"Fantastic place!! Great service and OMG the smell when you open that door.....amazing. Had the pleasure of sampling quite a few items. All of them were off the chart! Smoked Bacon Mac and Cheese, cornbread and the deep fried corn on the cob even blew my mind. Can't wait to go back."

"This will be a brief comment because our meal was not notable: the steaks arrived overcooked and they were not especially tender (not tough either, just quite a bit chewier than you would expect in an establishment that I assume uses AAA meat).Yes, I know, we could have sent them back and the Keg would happily have made them again but sometimes you just go with the flow. Our waiter, on the other hand, was remarkable and deserves to be saluted. Matthew ("You can call me Matt!") was cheery and exceptionally efficient: he was there when you needed him and completely unobtrusive when our party of eight was lost in conversation. He played along when we bantered with him, and never made a misstep. He made such a positive impression, I'd be willing to write off the average meal as a forgivable mistake and give the Keg Manor another try. Heaven knows it's a beautiful space, and because it is divided into numerous dining rooms, you never have to raise your voice to be heard over the din of other diners on busy nights."

"I was at Lone Star back in Dec. and didn't like my meal so I sent a message about it. They contacted me right away and apologized and invited me back. I finally went back tonight, food was great and service was excellent. Thank you to the server Sangria and one of the manager, Outlaw, you outdid yourself, that's what I call someone taking things seriously. I will be back :-)"

"If you're from Ottawa, you know that Lone Star is a staple. Unfortunately, this particular Lone Star does not represent the brand well. We were recently here for dinner, and we had to ask 4 different times just for water. Our food took 45 minutes to arrive. It was just such a disappointment. Even though we live close-by, I don't think I'd take my chances again."

"Service was great but portions sizes were very disappointing. Our Texas fajita looked like a dos and our jalapeño popper dip came in a skillet that was maybe 1/4 full and the dip didn’t even reach the outside of the skillet."
