"Excellent, authentic Thai restaurant in the heart of Old Phuket Town. We went on the back of all the positive reviews and we were not disappointed. Their signature dish : fresh crab meat yellow curry in a coconut sauce was delicious! There are dishes to suit every desire : seafood, meat, pork and vegetarian. The Thai salads were also excellent. Highly recommend!"

"The takieng is my favorite restaurant in bang niang. I've been here for 14 years when I find myself in the opposite. every meal here is a tasty bite with the excellent staff and dedicated owners. it has recently been renovated with a new dach, but the ambiente, which is provided by the many ornaments and art objects from North-Dynaland. here you will find the best som tam together with many others. make sure to ask Thai-spicy!"

"Probably the worst restaurant in Khao Lak. We ordered Duck curry, garlic bread and Pad Thai and asked if everything could be served together. After 40 min the garlic bread arrived. After 1 hour 20 min the DUCK curry arrived and the pad Thai NEVER arrived. The dumb waiter didn't even put in the order! So save yourself a lot of stress and stay away. (That has to be the weirdest duck I ever ate! Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 4"

"I recommend this restaurant for local cuisine at the local price. I eat every evening here for dinner I like basilikum prawan with rice and fired egg above. and tom yum seafood soup with less spicy and grill seafood some time I try papaya salat in local style, but with only 1 chill. best eating in khao lak bang niang."

"This open air restaurant is perfect for an authentic Thai meal. we had the thai curry chicken and steamed rice. it was delicious and so tasteful! also the rindburger tried. it is served with fries. this place is good for authentic Thai preparations. they also have good cocktails. also food proportions are good. the prices are reasonable."
