"Wednesday, 26th August, with a group of ten people. We had a somewhat overweight blond waitress who was so rude to us that I think she needs career change to something that is not connected with work with the public. It was very frustrated that people in the group (who arrived at different times) put their food orders at different times. She said, "Oh great! I LOVE it if people cannot give their orders at the same time!” She was visibly very irritated. When I ordered another round of drinks an hour later, I added “if that is ok with you” and then she said “Do you find that funny?”. Luckily she finished her shift and we were served by a really nice and friendly waitress. I'm sorry to give this place a bad review because it's really nice and has good food to drink, but I had terrible service."

"Aufgrund der Lage und als Stammgäste von SPG haben wir uns für das "Le Meridian" entschieden. Wie "immer" liegt auch dieses Hotel absolut zentral und dennoch ruhig (durch die Fenster auf der Strassenseite) und es sind alle Sehenswürdigkeiten problemlos zu Fuss erreichbar.Die Zimmer sind leider sehr, sehr klein, zwar renoviert (im "Neubau") aber dies auch nicht in der letzten Konsequenz. Klimaanlage hat irgendwie nicht die gewünschte Temperatur erreicht, aber es war trotz dessen auszuhalten :-)! Der Pool (vgl. Internetseite) ist fotografisch perfekt aufgenommen aber leider 1.) innen gelegen und 2.) sehr klein. Auf der anderen Seite ist das Hotel eines der wenigen, die wenigstens einen Pool haben. Auch der Fitnessraum ist sehr voll (aufgrund der Größe). Es steht jedoch ein Trainer zu Verfügung und alle Geräte sind in Topzustand.Preislich ist es halt ein "Le-Meridien"...sowohl beim Frühstück ( 32,- und sehr beengtes Buffet, jedoch Live-Cocking und ausreichen sowie am WE bis 11.00 Uhr!) wie auch beim abendlichen Cocktail (ausreichend Alkohol für im Schnitt € 16,-). Sehr junge Angestellte die dies auch zeigen und alle "sehr, sehr locker" sind und immer einen entsprechenden Spruch auf den Lippen haben. Alles in allem würden wir wieder hier her kommen, preislich ist es jedoch etwas zu hoch eingestuft (für einen zweiten Besuch, wenn man nicht mehr alles zu Fuss erreichen muss/möchte)"

"Came here with daughter. Both vegetarian. Setting is nice. Ordered Vietnamese Summer rolls and soup of the day (apple-celery) for starter. Soup was tasty. Summer rolls were good but a bit heavy and over-tofu'd. For mains one ordered burger and chips (quite heavy, burger ok...but not so tasty) and the other ordered gnocchi (substantial portions, but the gnocchi itself was too fat; whole thing a bit oily)."
