"Fantastic restaurant set over several floors, with small cosy rooms off the steep staircase. Large choice at lunchtime from either the lunch or all day menu. The food was all really tasty, would recommended everything we had! That includes Thai red beef curry, Thai green chicken curry, Giggling wings, fried squid and lunchtime 'tapas 'tasters... The staff were all very friendly the service was great. We were hugely impressed with how they handled a sesame allergy one of our party had. From before we booked, when we asked questions about dishes that would be suitable, to on the day itself when they double checked what we ordered. Would definitely recommend this restaurant."

"Overall a very very nice meal! The sweetcorn cakes, coconut curry and the banana fritters and sorbets were particularly delicious and although a bit expensive I can’t wait to dine here again. I had the vegan bites which are basically a soo goer/airier form of tofu and very nice. The waiters were all very helpful, and careful not to give me anything I have intolerances to, however I ordered the banana fritters with sorbet (to make it vegan) and when they brought it out they’d given me dairy vanilla. They changed it quickly and it was fine, but seeing another reviewer write this below is a little worrying. It was also a little cramped and noisy, but the food made up for it so 4*s overall. "Unfortunately although the food was fine the whole experience was very rushed. Booked for 10pm at which point they confirmed we could keep the table for two hours. On arrival at 9.35pm we were told that we had to order everything straightaway including starters. We were then told about an hour later that the restaurant was about to close. Starters are not starters if served at the same time as mains! It should be made clear when booking that meals ordered after 9pm have to be eaten quickly and the table vacated by 11pm. Disappointed in the experience."

"Had dinner at The Giggling Squid in Stratford-Upon-Avon last night. Booked through the call centre and we were a little concerned that they’d booked us into one in Stratford in London but no, the restaurant confirmed they’d got us in. Starters were good… particularly the dumplings. My pork main course was amazing. Service was very relaxed… no hassle or pushing us to vacate the table. Great place."

"Amazing Malay, Singaporean, Indonesian Thai South Asian flavours all HALAL! (No pork served) confirmed. Loved the taste flavours. Very hospitable and knowledgeable staff. Helped us select some of the best signature items from the menu. We were very hungry and loved everything. Just one thing which I didn’t quite enjoy was the Chicken Satay and the sauce served with it. I’ve had way better peanut sauce and it wasn’t just upto the mark. Rest everything is worth 5 stars! ESP the Beef Rendang it was just just perfectly cooked with great texture infused with flavours. They have vegan varieties. Just amazing!"
